My Therapy

Chapter 24

Andrea's POV

Today is Lyle's therapy with Ella and Adriane came with her to visit us.

"Addie!" Lyle screamed and ran towards Adriane to give her a warm hug. Adriane lifted him and tossed him up in the air.

"Stop doing that! He likes it so much that he would ask me to do it with him. I'm not as strong as you, y'know" I said to Adriane. Ella just chuckled while looking at us. She got used to Adriane and I always screaming at each other.

We all went to the basement for the play therapy. Lyle played with me and Adriane, while Ella is observing giving us tips from time to time. After the session we went up to the living room like we normally do for discussion.

"Lyle's been pretty amazing when it comes to his play therapy. I think he can be enrolled to nursery next year. I'll create his assessment report and work with his occupational therapist to see if we can proceed with that" Ella said which made me smile.

"Thank you for all of your help and patience" I told Ella. "I'm happy I could help" she replied.

I went to our family calendar to check when is Lyle's next appointment with his occupational therapist to make arrangements.

"Lyle's next appointment with his occupational therapist is on March 1st which is about 3 weeks from now"

"What? does it mean we get to celebrate on the 28th? But your mom want it on the 1st right?" Adriane suddenly asked and turned towards Ella.

"Oh yeah! I forgot! It'll be both your birthday that day" I said realizing that for this year, Adriane and Ella will celebrate their birthday at the same time.

Adriane was born on February 29th so we normally celebrate it on either 28th or 1st of March if it's not a leap year and Ella was born March 1.

"Well I guess we need to make other arrangement with the occupational therapist. My mom would kill me if I go to work that day. She's been planning the celebration since the day she knew our birthday's are on the same day" Ella answered.

"Yeah, I think that will be our best bet. I'll just talk with his occupational therapist and see when we can reschedule" I agreed.

I am excited for both of their birthdays. For one, this will be Adriane's first birthday celebration here in Canada and with a new girlfriend. Also, we will meet Ella's mom. She insisted to have the celebration at their house to meet us.

"Alright! All settled then, I'll pick you all up on that day. And you little guy, make sure to wear your cutest outfit for grandma!" Adriane said to Lyle and toss him up again in the air.

"You need to stop doing that! If he asks me to do that with him, I swear I'll go to your apartment and leave him there" I threatened.

"Fine fine" Adriane said putting Lyle down and gave him a kiss before leaving.

Ella's POV

Since Lyle's last session, I have been thinking of a birthday gift for Adriane which is really hard. I asked Andrea for advise and she said that whatever I give Adriane, she'll definitely like it. That didn't help at all. I want to give Adriane something special, something she would definitely love.

If I think of something she can use all the time that'll be either a wrist watch or earrings. She only has those two accessories with her, but what kind of watch or earrings? She has couple of different watches and she only wears two types of earrings - the black round one or the black that goes around the lobe of her ears.

I asked Julia to come with me but she's swamped with work. I told Adriane that I'll just grab some groceries so she wouldn't suspect if I have some bags when I get home.

I was walking around to find something for her when a familiar face approached me.

"Hi, you here alone?" it's Adriane's f*****g co-worker, I don't know her name but I won't forget that face.

"Yes, I'm looking something for my GIRLFRIEND" I answered with emphasis on the word "girlfriend".

"Oh, yeah! Her birthday will be on the next few weeks. I'm Maddie by the way" she said and reached out her hand to me.

I didn't ask your name b***h, my eye squinted as I thought of saying it but I clenched my jaw to calm myself. I took her hand reluctantly and shook it.

"I'm Ella"

"I think Adriane has a couple of different watches. Why not something different?" she said to me because I was looking over some wrist watches.

If there's no sales person in front of me I have slapped her face by now. Who the hell she thinks she is telling me what to give to MY GIRLFRIEND?!

"I know, but she really likes wrist watches so I'm thinking of giving her something she likes but special" I replied ever so politely. If Julia could see me now she would die laughing knowing that I have been trying my best not to smack the face of this girl.

"I don't know, sometimes the things you've always liked gets boring if nothing's changed. Why not try something new? She could like the new one better" she replied with a grin planted on her face.

I'm not stupid, I know she's not referring to the watch. Adriane rejected her and now she's playing with my mind giving hints that she could be better than me? Oh girl! you messed with the wrong person.

"I think it still depends if she wants to try a new one. If I recall it right, she doesn't like the idea of that. She said that "she's not interested" - to get a bracelet, so I'll go with the wrist watch" I answered sarcastically.

"Well she could say that even if she wants the new one just for the sake of keeping what she currently likes. But that doesn't mean she completely rejects the idea of getting something new - like a bracelet or a necklace" she replied still trying to make her point - whatever b***h!

"Last time I check not interested means rejected? Like doesn't want at all and wouldn't be wanted, ever"

This slut is really getting on my nerves. I don't know what's going on in that tiny brain of hers that makes her think that Adriane still wants her even after rejecting her. Maybe she's hallucinating right now, should I call Julia and schedule her for therapy?

"Well if you're decided with that, go for it. Just don't get hurt if Adriane told you that it's the same old thing she already has" she said finally giving up on this pointless conversation.

"No worries, dear. Adriane doesn't like to try new and cheap...things" I replied with a mischievous smile and she finally took off.

"That's an interesting conversation" the lady on the watch stall said and I kinda blush because she heard how rude I was.

"I know and it's all for the watch" I said and looked down on the display.

"For sure" the lady said and giggled.

I browsed through the displayed wrist watches and one caught my eye. It has a leather brown strap and black watch face. I believe this would look good on Adriane and I don't think she has a watch with brown strap yet.

I asked the lady if I can get a better look at it, she took it from the display table and told me that they can also engrave it for free.

I got home and Adriane's on the couch watching TV while waiting for me.

"Welcome home, Love. What took you so long?" she asked and kissed me.

"Long line at the counter" I answered swiftly. She tried to take the grocery bags but I insisted that I'll put them away and told her to set up the table so we can eat.

"How was your day?" Adriane asked while we are eating.

"Never been better" I replied as I recall how I murdered her co-worker during our conversation.

"Wow you look really happy. Let me guess, kids are extra adorable today?"

"Let's just say that I managed to give someone a really good advise" I replied.

"That's nice, I hope that person takes you advise. I know it will be for their own benefit"

"Oh, it is definitely for their own good" I smiled.

It is, cause if she insists on Adriane - she'll find herself tied to a chair screaming for help in an abandoned building with me sharpening a knife in front of her.

After dinner we went to our room to have some rest. I sat in front of my laptop to finish some report then Adriane suddenly hugged me from behind and kissed my neck.

"Hmm, you smell nice. I'm going to take a shower. We can save water if we go in together" She said in a flirty voice.

"Stop teasing me, I still have work to do" I told her and kissed her cheeks.

She suddenly closed my laptop and lifted me up from the chair. She carried me, my legs on her left arm and her right arm supports my back while both of my arms are around her neck to make sure I won't fall.

"Adriane! Put me down!" I yelled at her

"I didn't ask you if you want to come with me in the shower, I told you that we'll save water if we go in together" she walked towards the bathroom while I try my best to get down from her arms but it's no use.

She placed me down trapping me inside and closed the shower curtains.

"Adriane Marie Reyes, I am warning you!" I said her full name to make a point which I totally regretted.

"Oh no you didn't!" she said with an amused smile on her face then turned on the cold shower and I screamed as the cold water touched my hair, face and body. I'm 100% sure that the whole apartment building heard my scream.

Then she kissed me passionately, suddenly making the cold water from the shower feel hot.

She trailed kisses on my neck while she slowly remove my shirt. I licked her ear and that made her more aroused as she grabbed my butt hard. She then removed the remaining clothes I have on and pinned be on the bathroom wall, the cold tiles touched my back and I gasped for air.
