Chapter 14

Ella's POV

This person keeps surprising me. I mean, I can't believe she noted all of the things I told her just to prepare for this date. I thought those were just random text messages, it's just now that I realized that she did that to know more about me. She started with the tulips - I told her I don't have flower allergies and I like tulips the most. Then walking towards the car - she opened the door for me, which is really sweet and I remember joking to her that no one does that anymore. The movie date - I told her I haven't done outdoor movies yet and here we are and she even brought my favorite snack, Cheetos.

"Wow, you really prepared for this" I told her. "I just want to make sure you'll enjoy spending time with me today" she replied back with that sweet smile of hers, making me blush. Butterflies in my stomach started flying and I find myself leaning my head to her shoulders as soon as the movie started.

The sun started to set and I can feel Adriane shiver. Even though she's not yet used to the cold weather here, she chose to spend our first date outside just because of something I like. It's the first time I felt really special to someone, she would do whatever that pleases me - really sweet and selfless actions.

Adriane started covering herself up in blanket halfway through the movie. "You okay? Should we go somewhere indoors?" I asked her. "I'm fine, you like it here. You can't say you experienced the outdoor movie theatre without finishing the movie" she smiled still shivering. I scooted a bit closer to her to add warmth on her. I felt her body relax a bit and her shaking lessened. I turned to grabbed the other blanket for her, then something cold touched my hand. Is that a snow flake? I looked at Adriane and she's looking up the sky. "Is this snow?" she asked. Gosh! she's adorable, my mind said, while hiding a smile from her. Then I realized, it's her first time to see and experience snow. I looked at her and replied "Yes, it's snow". She's still looking up absorbing what's happening around her. "It's beautiful" she said. The innocent look she has watching the snow fall down, the sweet actions she did for me on this date and the warmth I feel whenever I'm with her is just too much for me to control.

"Screw it! I can't keep these feelings anymore" I said to myself, I leaned towards Adriane.

"Yes, really beautiful" I answered looking at her. Then I wrapped my arms around her neck and pulled her towards me. I pressed my lips on hers, giving her warmth as the snow continued to fall on us.
