Chapter 17

Ella's POV

Adriane has been sick for the past three days and she also missed a day from work after we went out, which made me feel really guilty. But she's the one who insisted to go with us even though she's sick - trying to convince myself not to feel bad about it. Sometimes, I just don't understand how she thinks, she could've just said - NO that day. I kept thinking about it as I put my things inside my bag getting ready to go home.

"Brett and I will see a movie tonight, wanna come? You can ask Adriane to come along" Julia asked. "She's still recovering from her illness, so I don't think that's possible" I responded. "Oh no, is she okay?" Julia asked concernedly. "Maybe, she said she feels a lot better now but she's still resting to make sure she won't miss work again" I told Julia.

"Do you want to tag along with us?" Julia asked me as she puts on her make-up before leaving the office. "I think I'll pass for today, enjoy the movie" I replied with a smile.

While I was driving home, I thought about paying Adriane a visit just to make sure she's fine. I sure feel guilty on what happened, or I'm just concerned about her? Still, trying to make out the purpose of my visit, I turned my car around and went to Adriane's address. 

I parked in front of their house and rang the doorbell. No one's answering, I knocked on the door but still no answer. I took my phone out of my bag to call Adriane, when I heard someone unlocking the front door.

"Ella?" Andrea asked as she opened the door. "What brings you here? I don't remember Lyle has an appointment for today" she continued. "No, I just want to check on Adriane, she has been sick since we went out the other day. Is she okay?" I responded, somehow my face started to blush. I don't know what Andrea is thinking right now, maybe she thinks I'm such a flirt checking up on her little sister - this whole idea is terrible, I concluded.

"Yes, she's in her room sleeping, I think. Come in!" Andrea swung the door open for me and her expression is the same as my mom's, when Adriane picked me up on our date, what's wrong with these people. "Her room is on the basement, first door on the right. I'll take Lyle to have his haircut, just go to her room and if she's asleep just wake her up. I'm sure she won't mind" Andrea said smiling as she put Lyle's things in a bag.

"I can just leave if she's sleeping, I don't want to disturb her rest. You can just tell her I came by" I answered back, the thought of me and Adriane alone in their house is a bit too much for me right now. "Nonsense, I'm sure she'll be as strong as a bear once she sees you" Andrea replied, pushing me down the stairs going to their basement.

Andrea waved goodbye and Lyle hugged me before they left their house and I was standing at the end of the stairs still thinking if I should open Adriane's bedroom door. I'll just knock and if she didn't respond back, I'll just go home - that's the plan I created in my head. My heart's beating way too loud that I can hear it, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door three times. I did not hear an answer - sticking with my plan, I exhaled deep not too sure if it was a sign of relief or disappointment.

Then I heard Adriane "Sis? it's open, please grab the thermometer and water for me"

I slowly opened the door where I saw Adriane laying on her bed all covered up and her eyes still closed. "It's on top of the table" she continued and I looked at the table near the end of her bed where the thermometer and water bottle was placed. I took both and sat beside Adriane, she slowly turned towards me and my heart pounded too loud again. Her eyes are still closed, she reached out her hand to me. Not sure if she's asking for the thermometer or water bottle, I handed her the water bottle. She slowly sat down, her eyes slowly opened while twisting the bottle cap and drank from it. Still not looking at me directly, she handed out her hand again asking for the thermometer, I assume. I gave it to her and she placed it in her ear to check her temperature, 36.5 ºC.

She smiled, then looked at me with sleepy eyes and said "Told you I'll be better again, she has magical powers you know", then she laid back in bed.

Still confused on what Adriane said, she suddenly flinched and turned towards me and almost shouted in surprise -- "Ella?!" 

"Uh, hi?.." the only words that came out of my mouth, still not sure how to respond with her statement and her reaction. "I thought you're Andrea! Were you the one who knocked earlier?" Adriane said, blushing and trying to hide under the covers. She's so funny, her face expressions are so genuine that I can tell she felt embarrassed on what she said and did.

"Yes, Andrea let me in. I was supposed to leave if you're asleep but when I knocked on the door I heard you ask for something. Andrea left with Lyle, so I figured I'll help you out" I totally lied, I wanted to open her bedroom door even though I planned not to if no one responds on my knock.

"Oh...Okay..." Adriane said, her face is still red as a tomato. "So what were you saying earlier about magical powers?" I asked, teasing her. The colour of her face grew more red, almost dark red and I find myself giggling as I look at it. "That's not fair, for the record I was half a sleep" she answered trying to defend herself. "So you mean you are dreaming when you said that? Is it me who has magical powers in your dreams?" I continued to tease her. "Maybe it is you" she replied with a smile in her face looking at me with those dark eyes. I felt my heart beat faster and butterflies in my stomach started flying as I look into her eyes. "You know, it'll be dangerous for you to continue teasing me like that. We're alone in this house right now" Adriane said, quickly turning things around. All of a sudden I'm the one who's blushing and I'm the one who wants to hide under the covers. "Just kidding! I won't do that to you, we're even now. You look adorable when you blush" she said, slightly laughing. I lightly punched her arm because of it. "Ow! I'm still sick, you should be nicer to me" her reaction made me smile - seriously how could this person make me smile that quick.

"Thank you for checking up on me" she whispered as she placed a kiss on my forehead. "No, you're not doing this to me again" I said slightly disappointed. I looked at her and wrapped my arms around her neck, then pulled her towards me for a kiss.

I pressed my lips against hers and I can feel a smile escaping from her lips. My tongue explored her mouth as we continue to make out while sitting on her bed. She placed her arms around me and pulled me closer as she slowly lay back down on her bed. 

She's now laying back on her bed while I was leaning down on her not breaking our kiss. Her tongue explored my mouth and she placed her hand behind my neck to deepen our kiss and that made me moan in pleasure. I like it when she does that, she starts with light kisses which makes me hungry for more, then takes it a bit rough which makes me moan. We pulled apart for a bit catching our breaths, my forehead is leaning against hers, my eyes slowly tracing the features of her face. Her dark eyes, soft lips, defined jaw line.

God! I've never been so in love - I said to myself, wait, did I say in love? Well maybe I am.

She smiled at me and said "You're really beautiful, I would want to see your face every morning when I wake up" Adriane whispered as she placed strands of hair behind my ear. I placed a soft kiss on her lips, not knowing how to respond to those sweet words.

"I don't want to rush you, but I really like you Ella. I think I'm in love with you" she continued. "I'm falling in love with you too" I managed to respond despite the fast and loud beats my heart is making. She slowly grabbed me and turned me on the other side of her bed, then she positioned her self on top of me. "So are we girlfriends now?" she asked me with a smile. "I like the sound of that" I replied back and pulled her again towards me for a kiss.

"I love you" she whispered while slowly breaking away from our kiss, then she kissed me back more deeply this time making me moan even more. Her hands explored my body, the warmth of them adds to the heat my whole body is experiencing right now. She trailed kisses on my neck and collar bone as she slowly unbutton my blouse, I feel like catching my breath on every kiss she place as her warm lips touch every inch of my body. Her hands found their way on my back and unhooked my bra, she then grabbed my breasts and I feel getting more wet down as she continue to touch every part of me. Adriane took off my bra and positioned herself between my legs. She gave me a soft kiss on the lips and slowly made her way down on my stomach while taking off my pants. "Adriane, please..." I said, she looked at me with a smile "Please what?" she asked, evidently knowing what I want. I pulled her face and kissed her deeply which made her moan, "I want you" I said to her looking into her eyes.

She kissed me and removed my underwear, I felt her fingers slowly playing with my c**t, the sensation is amazing I feel getting wet even more.
