Limbs went flying by, heads rolled off shoulders and dismembered bodies fell to the ground, turning into piles of ash. Aaron cleared a straight path through the woods, putting up a wall of flames behind him to stop the other enemies from chasing him.
Since the forest was now bordered by a wall of fire, the corrupted beasts inside couldn’t get out and the ones who had strayed outside couldn’t go back in. The monsters now focused their attention on the human village.
