Nox gently laid Croxx on the ground. Without wasting time, he shifted into his large black wolf form. His red eyes glowed with anger as he charged at the vampire.
He bit the vampire’s shoulder hard, making him scream in pain. In panic, the vampire started throwing sharp icicles everywhere. Nox dodged quickly, circling him and waiting for the right moment.
Then, with a strong leap, Nox pinned him to the ground. The vampire struggled, but Nox was faster. He sank his teeth into the vampire’s neck and tore it open, ripping the head clean off.
Blood spilled as the body dropped still. Nox stepped back, panting, his fur stained red. He glanced at Croxx, lying wounded—but the vampire was dead.
