(Mindy Esmond’s Perspective)
Mindy got tremendously annoyed when she saw the new notification on her phone. Her mom only replied to her text message the following day. She wondered what happened with her mom. Why would her mom reply to her text messsage so late?
Mom:
Mindy, love! Sorry I got to reply so late. I was so busy yesterday. How’s your time at college? Tell me all the good things and bad things. Love you, x
As soon as she sat down on her bed and opened her eyes widely, she typed fast on her phone’s keyboard.
You:
Mom! Oh, my God! Where have you been? I was at the Elwood’s manor yesterday! But the landlord said you gone out to the supermarket nearby! I’m mad at you for neglecting me!
