*Llewelyn* I step into the central chamber of our hideout, the flickering torchlight casting eerie shadows on the rough stone walls. My pack members have gathered, their eyes filled with curiosity and suspicion. I know that they question my recent friendly association with my brother Griff and his peculiar pack. Merek, a wiry figure, steps forward, his voice dripping with suspicion. “Llewelyn, what is all this about you fraternizing with your brother’s pack and helping them? Are you willing to overlook the blood they have spilled, those of our lives they have taken?” My jaw clenches as I meet Merek’s gaze, warning him to choose his words carefully.
