"Hey, you're early." Hannah looks surprised.
I punch in the code of my locker and take out the books I need. "Don't give me that look. I know I'm not a morning person but I can wake up early sometimes." I feign annoyance.
"I love you, too." she makes a kissy face.
My eyes widen in surprise. She's not goofy. I was actually expecting her to just change the topic but this- this is new. "Are you high, Han?"
She gets flustered. "Uhmm...no?"
"You have ten seconds to tell me what's going on or else I'm going to tickle you."
Her eyes widen again. "No no no. Please Em, no tickling. You know how ticklish I am."
"Yup, and that's why I will do it." My smile reaches my ears.
She sighs. "Fine, but promise me you won't tell anyone."
"Not even the girls?" I ask.
"Not even the girls."
