Resemblance

I stumbled backwards a little bit. "Sorry I don't think I look anything like her." I said to them both. But if their friend is Queen Rani. "How would you be friends with..."

"Well, you really aren't her now are you. but you are pretty close." Remmi says then points to a picture behind me.

I turned to look at an old painting and it looks like me.... and Vincent.....

"Wait... Are you playing a trick on me? What is going on?" I said "I demand an explanation" I tired to use my Luna voice on them.

"In all due time, I think its time for you to return." Nimue said before she waved her hand across my face.

"ROSALIE! ROSALIE!" I hear a voice in the distance. Then I feel someone touch me.

"ugh... What happened... " I asked slowly trying to get up, my mind still feels a little foggy. What just happend. I swear I was just in a beautiful home and now I am just in a... ruined old cabin.... but that painting..

I look up and that painting is ruined but the frame is still there. I walked up to the frame and it says Queen Rani and King Leroy Coronation day.

"Luna, are you ok?" asked one of the pack warriors.

"I am ok now. Would you be able to take this frame down?" I asked the warrior.

"um... I can try.. Why would you need it Luna?" He asked me.

"I just want to see if there is anything else behind the frame." I asked.

The 2 warriors who found me took the frame down, while the remaining pack warriors and Vincent show up.

"Rosalie, You were gone so long!" He said coming up to me and hugging me. "I started to worry"

"I was only gone a few hours Vincent." I said to him.

"Um.. Rosalie, you disappeared yesterday afternoon." He said to me.

I what... "Vincent you don't have to play games with me. I left at noon today.." I said to him.

"My dear, You left at noon yesterday. You didn't return for dinner and we have been searching for you since. We had to send the most elite to find you." Vincent said to me worried. "I thought someone kidnapped you. But they mind link that you came down this road. This road has been closed because there has always been many disappearances."

"What do you mean by disappearances?" I said to him.

"Well first lets you get you out of here." Vincent said.

As soon as he said that the frame fell and shattered, revealing the painting of the old castle grounds. That is odd that my dream would show me this picture on the wall but there was a hidden painting. How did it survive this long.

"This looks like blue prints to a castle." one to the warriors said. "I wonder what castle."

"let's take the painting back to the pack house and see what we can learn from it. Call the elders." Vincent demanded the warriors. "Rosalie, sweetheart, let's go home." Then he guided me out the front door to the awaiting car.

"What was that?" I said to Vincent as a gust of wind flowed pasted us. "I am not sure, but lets get going." He said. I felt a small release as if the spirits of the place have finally let go and moved on. Like they were saying one last goodbye. I wonder if they were staying here long enough to make sure that painting got to me.

It was a 2 hour drive back to the pack house. Which seemed weird because I swear the walk to this building was only a 30 min walk. This cottage was very close to the boarder of Golden Moon pack. Maybe about 1 hour away. I nearly traveled all the way home.

"You said I was gone for a whole day? But I don't feel like I have been gone that long." I said to Vincent in the car. I could see something was working his mind because he didn't respond to me. "Vincent. VINCENT!"

"Sorry, Yeah, You left yesterday. I got out of my meeting and I saw you leave the pack grounds. I assumed you went to and see if there was a campsite near by. I sent a few warriors after you maybe about an hour after you left. They found the camp ground. It was empty but they said they could not find you. The camp was about 30 min from where they entered." Vincent finally said to me. "Did you find anything else while you were out there?" He asked me.

"No. I actually never found the camp. I found the gates. I thought that maybe they were there..." I said to him.

"Gates?" Vincent looked like he was deep in thought then I saw his eyes glaze over. We must be close to home because he is mind linking someone.

"My mom will be waiting for you at the entrance to the hospital. She will be with you and the pack doctor, I have a little bit of business to talk to my father about and I will meet you back at the hospital ok." He said to me. I nod yes in response because I already knew I was in some trouble for disappearing. Luna's do not disappear for no reason on their own. It would be like I abandoned the pack and my mate. I would be a runaway Luna.

I was lost in my thoughts as we pulled up to the pack hospital. Luna Elenora was standing there with the pack doctor ready for our return. Vincent's father was also waiting for him.

"We will meet in the conference room here at the hospital with the elders." David said to Vincent. Vincent nodded and turned to kiss me.

"Take care of her, mom." He said with worry in his voice. Elenora nods and suggested me to sit in the wheel chair. I refused but the pack doctor requested I do and I complied. They were checking my vitals and making sure that I was ok. I was trying to tell them I was ok. I didn't have any damage I was going to be fine. They wanted to run a few test and make sure that I didn't take anything but physically I was ok.

"Knock, knock." Vincent said while walking in. "Everything ok" he asked. He came and sat on the chair next to the bed.

"Everything physically is fine, we are just waiting on the lab to and the doctors ok before she is ready to leave." Elenora said to Vincent.

"Good." then he looked at me "And you. Next time just wait for me. I was raging knowing that you were missing. I was yelling at everyone because no one took a moment to be with you." He said to me.

That was when Christian walked in. "Luna. Alpha. Luna Elenora." He said bowing his head.

"Christian just on time. Rosalie, this is my buddy Christian he is the Gemma. He will be at your side when you need him. I want him there with you. I don't want this to happen again. Yesterday Christian was actually on that side of the boarder and he is the only one that could track and find you." Vincent said to me. I heard that the bond between a Gemma and a Luna were unbreakable. It was like a family bond. The Gemma's job is to be his or her Luna's support, almost like their shadow.

"Hello, Christian!" I said to him.

"Please Luna Call me Chris." He said with a smile. "I am sure the Luna is ok."

"I feel like this would be a good thing." Luna Elenora said. "A Gemma will walk in your shadows. They are more than warriors for their Luna's. Their Luna's are the most important to them."

"Correct, We are your eyes, ears and emotional support. I know when you are sad, happy and more." Christian said.

"um... and more." I said.

"Not to that extent. He doesn't know your every desire." Vincent said laughing out loud.

"I know enough to know you are not safe or you are unhappy. Lets leave it as if Vincent were to cheat, I feel your sorrow. I will be there for you." Christian said. "I will be just outside the door if you need me" after he said that he left.

"Is he always like that?" I asked Vincent.

"Yeah. His dad always taught him to always be by the books, he doesn't stray away from it. Him and Anthony are practically the same." Vincent said. "They were raised in the same house. The Cape's took in the Howl's children when the father died. They were best friends."

"Could you elaborate on who those are?" I asked him.

He chuckled a little. "Sure. My uncle is Rocky Cape. They had 3 children. Christian, Vivian, and Cecila. As you know Vivian is my tracker and Leah is studying to be the new head pack doctor. She should be coming back soon. My aunt died after having Leah. She was attacked and didn't survive but wanted to make sure that Leah would make it." He got a little quite. "The same day my uncle's best friend wife was attacked. The Howls are Anthony, Amanda, and Serenity."

Serenity.... that name sounds familiar...

"Anthony's dad was mad after his mate died. His wolf went on a rampage and started to kill anything and everything that smelled like a rouge. There were a lot of innocent people killed by him. He was placed under arrest and is still here in the pack jail. He has improved since the death of his mate but he cannot be released." Vincent said with sadness in his voice. "Before he went mad, he asked my uncle to take care of his children. So we all group up together. Sadly, Amanda was there during the attack and her wolf will never surface but her sister Serenity is a different story. It awoken her Wolf Remedy."

"She was a little young then, she was only 13 years old. A lot of people praise her and she is a strong wolf." Elenora added.

Why does that name sound so familiar?

"Look, I want to tell you something because I am sure you will run into her at some point." Vincent said. "I dated her at one point in time. Before you, I was lonely and it was not for very long. She grew very attached to me. I knew I had to break it after she asked to make her my chosen mate."

"VINCENT SILVER! You told me she was nothing more than a friend!" Elenora said angrily.

"It was a moment of weakness. I needed a companion I didn't think she would want more. It was when I couldn't find my mate. Its been years since we had any kind of contact. I swear we only dated nothing more happend." Vincent said.

"That girl has been fawning on you every day for the last 3 years. You are just now telling me you didn't do anything more with her." Elenora said "YOU TELL ME NOW VINCENT!"

"Nothing more mother. She got clingy and one night she came to me tried to make advances but I rejected her. I had to get Anthony to come get her because she was being crazy." Vincent said.

I started laughing. "Just another thing you need a stalker!" It broke the rage in Elenora "I guess that is what you get for not waiting like I told you." Then she giggled also. "Now you will just have to deal with her until she finds her mate."

There was a Knock on the door. "Luna, Looks like your labs are good and you can go. I have your discharge papers."
