Our Time

We continued to talk about the new pack, about the building. We decided to call it a night since it was almost midnight. Vince decided to walk me to my room.

“Do you think we should announce that we are mates to everyone else too?” Vincent asked me.

“I am sure it would be nice. Having mated Alpha and Luna is the best option for packs. It makes us stronger and better.” I said to him.

We had just reached my door for the room. I wanted to invite him in to join me for a bit, but I feel it would turn into more. I looked into his eyes, and he look like he was waiting for me to make the first move. I smiled at him, and he leaned in closer to my face. Gently, he kissed my forehead.

“Goodnight, Rosalie. No matter how much I want to see your body and have you to myself tonight. I must respect your parents.” He said to me.

“Oh…. Are you sure you can’t stay with me for a little bit? We are engaged to be married…” I asked nervously.

“I must say, I would love to. I need to have respect for you too.” He said to me.

“Well… if you insist…” I spoke.

“I want our first time to be in our own room and bed. You may not be my first, but I assure my bed has only been reserved for my Luna.” He said then kissing my hand and walking to his room.

After he walked away, I turned to my room and went in. Not his first. I mean it doesn’t bother me. I know I waited for my mate and males are more prone to venture out, but it hurts me. I try to get ready for bed and sleep but just couldn’t. So, I went to find 2 of my biggest suitcases and pack.

“ROSALIE! ROSALIE!” I woke up on the floor of my closet and Julie trying to wake me up. “Why are you sleeping in the closet?” she asked me.

“Must have fallen asleep while packing.” I said to her

“Oh. Do you need some help?” she said to me.

“Sure, but let’s go get some breakfast.” I said to her. I watched her happily turn around and walked towards the door. I got up and got dress quickly, washed my face, brushed my teeth. Then I went to the door to go eat breakfast with my sister.

The rest of the day was packing and spending time with my siblings. Later in the evening I would go for a walk with Vincent. When I got back, I looked around my room. It was starting to look very empty. Tomorrow we would make our trip to the new pack, and I don’t know what to really expect. I don’t know what Vincent has already told them or what we they need us to do.

I went to bed and drifted off to sleep…

Dream***

“Rosalie, Run!” Says Vincent.

“I am not running from a fight. I will protect our pack!” I said to Vincent.

Just then a very large wolf appears. He was gray with a white stripe running down his back, red eyes and was growling at us. Vincent turned into his wolf and prepared to fight the other wolf. But it turned into a man. He was very handsome and had black hair with brown eyes. His face was oval, and he was naked.

“Well, well, well. The new King and Queen. I just wanted to come congratulate you on the coronation.” Says the man.

“Who are you and what do you want?” Vincent asked the man.

The man smiled devilishly. “I want what is mine. I want what was taken from my family. You have no right to the thrown of Wolves!” He said to us.

As we were talking, I notice another wolf appeared and a lady walked forward. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She stood tall with the jewels of the old Royals. Her crown still on her head. She looked at her son and looked back at me.

“Why not mate with this one? She will be powerful. I will train her to do our bidding.” She says to the man.

“I will have her! I will be king! This world will be as my father wanted it to be. Ruled by the Wolves.” He said then he howled at the moon. Like he was trying to taunt the Moon Goddess.

“You will not have what is not yours, I know who you are, and I know who your father is. You are not the rightful heir to the throne. Your father was a treacherous man, and you sound just like him.” Said Vincent.

“I will show you what a real king is like.” Said the man. Just like that he turned into a wolf again and so did Vincent. I started feeling dizzy and the world went black.

End Of Dream***

I woke up with a headache. What just happened? I thought to myself.

‘You are seeing the future.’ Says Gia.

‘How is that possible?’ I asked her.

‘It’s a part of who you are.’ She says with a little bit of sass.

‘Well, I hope that is all that I have.’ I said to her.

‘We will see, I cannot give you all the answers, you will have to find out on your own. Life is not as it seems and be careful with the people you trust.’ Gia said before going to the back of my mind.

What is she talking about? I turned to look at my phone, it was already 7:30 am. So, I decided to get ready for the day. I went to take a shower and dry my hair. Then I turned on my flat iron and curled my hair. After I was done, I unplugged my iron and went to my closet.

My sister left out my maroon dress. It was an A-line dress with sleeves, there was a gold lace trimming on the top portion of the dress. She left me a pair of black 4 in pumps. I had just put on my close when she came into my room.

“Can I help you with make up?” She asked me. I nod my head yes. She is amazing with her make up and I normally just put on eye liner and Chapstick and call it a day. She also pinned up my hair a little more and gave me a hug.

We sat there for a little bit just embracing one another. Then there was a knock at the door. It was the omegas; they came to help me take my stuff downstairs for my journey to the Silver Moon Pack. I was showing them which backs to take and saw my sister crying. I went back to my closet and took out one of my shirts. It was the shirt she loved to wear from my closet.

“Here! I want you to have this. Every time you wear it, I want you to know I am with you always.” I said to Julie while handing her the shirt. She looked up and me and started crying. I gave her one more hug and my mother came in.

“Rosalie….” She stopped when she saw me and my sister. “Julie dear. Are you ok?” My mother asked.

“Yeah Mom. It’s just really hard that she is leaving us.” Says Julie.

“Oh Julie! You will be coming to join me in a few months anyways.” I said to her.

You saw her face lit up and look at my mom.

“That is right. Once the castle is built you will be going there to be a part of the action there Julie.” My mother reassured her.

“Why did no one tell me this?” Julie said, wiping her tears away.

“Because it was not yet official what we were going to do yet Julie.” I said to her. She got excited and started jumping for joy. “I will always get to stay with my sister. I can’t wait.”

My sister has always stayed by my side. I could never really go any where without her. She knew my schedule. The only time she was not with me was when she had to do her job for tracking or when I had Alpha duties. Father never allowed us to be together during that time, he would send her to the tracking meetings and training while I was training and with him.

After I was ready, an omega came into the room to grab my bags. My mother and sister walked with me downstairs where Vincent and Ethan were waiting for me already. His scent was lovely, and he was staring at only me. It was like we were the only two people in the world.

“Are you ready to go home with me Rosalie?” He asked me and extending his hand out to me.

I reached out to take his hand and he grabbed my hand then linked arms with me. “I am ready to go home with you Vincent.” I responded.

I turned to say my last goodbye to my parents and siblings. I turned to walk to the car we were taking back to the Silver Moon Pack and got into the back seat with Vincent. Ethan got into the passenger seat and another man got into the driver seat. I looked at Vincent with confusion.

“Ah! Never introduced you to our driver. This is Anthony, he is one of our pack guards. He normally drives us around.” Said Vincent.

Anthony turned to look at me and said “Nice to meet you, Luna! I will give my life to protect you.”

“Um. You don’t need to do that. But I do understand what you are saying. Thank you.” I said to him. He nodded and started the car to leave.

The further away we got from Golden Moon Pack the more nervous I was getting. It is odd for me to be traveling without my family. Vincent noticed my nervousness and grabbed my hand and kissed it. I looked at him and smiled.

“You will do great. Don’t worry we will do this together Rosalie.” He reassured me.

“I have never been any where without my family. I am just feeling a little nervous. Sorry.” I said to him.

He flashed a smile at me and looked into my eyes. “Don’t you worry about a thing. You will always have me. I am here when you need me.” He said to me. He helped me feel a little calmer. I couldn’t help thinking about what other people would say. I already know all the disagreements with our packs but what about his. What would they think of what is going on?

“I just wanted to inform you that tonight we will be having a dinner with all pack members to introduce you as the Luna. I wanted to ask you if you would also like to let everyone know we are mates. I don’t want to do this without your consent. You know it was hard for you to let your parents know.” Vincent said to me.

“Oh… Um… Tonight we are having a dinner party. I didn’t know. Thank you for letting me know. It seems so soon.” I said to him.

“I know. My parents are excited to introduce you and let everyone know we are combining packs.” He said to me. “But you didn’t answer my last question.”

“Sorry, what was the last question, I… um… kind of…” I said nervously.

“You will do great Rosalie. You’re an Alpha. You know this role as well as I do.” He said to me before kissing my hand again. “I wanted to know if you wanted to mention that we are also mates.”

“YES! That is not even a question.” I said to him quickly.

“Well, I had to make sure. Since it took you a little bit to notice that we were mates.” He said to me with a sad tone.

“I do apologize for that. I am not sure what happened. I just didn’t have that feeling right away. Nor did my wolf let me know.” I said to him as a turned my head to look out the window. I notice that we were already passing the Old Ruins.

Just then I saw the glimpse of where the battle was in my dream. The castle still stood tall but the windows were smashed and one of the towers had crumbled down. Then an image of a wolf with red eyes appeared suddenly making me jump a little. I shut my eyes.

“Are you ok Rosalie? Are you feeling ill?” he said concerned.

“Yes, I am alright. I turned to look back but there was nothing. Just the passing of the entrance of the castle. I have heard rumors of the spirit of the old King Anthony still roaming around. I just pushed it all to the back of my head.

I decided to just rest my eyes the rest of the way and try to relax. I told Vincent and he agreed to wake me when we got closer to the pack house.

“Rosalie. Rosalie.” Vincent said to me softly while I slowly woke up. I must have dozed off while resting my eyes.

“We are about 3 mile out of the pack house. I thought I wake you up to see the territory.” It look like we were passing through the Moonlight City. Then it was empty lands and forest.

Vincent grabbed my hand a squeezed it tight. “I can’t believe you are real.” He said to me then kissing my hand. I still can’t wrap my head around it too. We are fated mates. We were lost in each other’s eyes. Then Ethan cleared his throat and said “Welcome to Silver Moon Pack Luna.”
