Our Time

In the Night

"Queen Rani, please tell me what is going on?" Says a woman.

"Nothing, Lilac! Promise me that you will remain my loyal servant." says Queen Rani.

"Always to you. We are to live for centuries." Says the woman Queen Rani called Lilac.

"If anything were to happen, please keep my body safe. Take it to the old home and put me on the stone of the moon." Queen Rani demanded of Lilac.

"You are not going to die anytime soon my Queen. You are to live until the next heir is born. This will pass your powers from you to the next heir." Says

Lilac.

"I do not think this will happen, Lilac. I think our time here is coming soon. In this lifetime we are meant to part, I am afraid. The King and I have prepared a special request for you. You are the only one to know. I am sorry. Until the

time comes. You are not to remember the location of our bodies." says the Queen. Then you see a light come from the Queens hand and a surge of bright lights.

You can see that this caused a big shield around a small house. Behind the house was a small cave with vines that grow over to cover it from any seeing eye. Do I walk to the cave? I think to myself. Of course, curiosity gets the best of me. I walk to where the vines are and notice a man standing there trying to enter. As soon as he moves the vines it shows just at the side of the mountain.

"AH, just another dead end I suppose" says the man and turns to walk away. As soon as the man walks away, I walked over and moved the vines and it opened. I slowly walked in and saw a torch. I took the torch and slowly continued to walk until I saw a light. I walked closer and saw a body hoovering over a round stone table.

"I have been waiting for you Rosalie." I heard someone say. I turned to the left and saw a door open and a figure gesture me to come to the door. I was hesitant to go to the door. "Don't worry I won't bite. I just want to talk for a moment before you go back." Says the figure.

I slowly made my way to the figure and walked inside. "It will only take a moment." She speaks.

"Who are you?" I said to her. She turned and looked at me. Then says "My Queen it has been a while but its time you come back. We are in danger. I have been watching like you said. I think it’s time for you and the king to return." She says to me. "You can trust me. My name is Lilac." I was stunned for a moment. It has been centuries since the Queen reign, how is it that Lilac still looks the same.

"I see you have questions. I may not have all the answers, but I am to serve you in every lifetime. I am what you can say your guardian angel." She said to me. "We don't have much time. I just want to let you know to follow your instincts and it will lead you and Vince to me." She keeps going, "This is crucial that only you and Vince come. There is only so much more power that the moon stone can hold your old body here." She said before she started to slowly disappear. "Remember follow your instincts and we will meet again." She said and all I could see now was darkness.

When I woke up Vince was already gone, and it was already 9 am. Today I was supposed to spend it with my siblings. I got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. As I was brushing my teeth someone knocked on the door.

"Luna. Are you in there?" Says the person.

"Yes. I am just brushing my teeth." I respond. "Come in."

The door open and it was Amanda. "Good morning, Luna. I was wondering if you need assistance or company today." she says from the door.

"I actually do Amanda. Did I get the name right?" I say to her as I motion her to help me out.

"Yes Luna. What do you need assistance with?" She responds.

I went to my office and gave her a paper with documents for the new pack house. "Could you run these to the Alpha for confirmation? Then could you come back and go with me to the spa with Julie and Sage. I know you have been a great deal of help to us. I would like to thank you." I said to her.

"Oh, Luna you are to kind. I can take this to the Alpha. He is currently on the training ground. I will also get us an escort to take us to the spa." Amanda says before leaving. You could tell she was excited as she had a fully smile from ear to ear running out of the office.

I went back to my room and headed to the closet to get clothes for the day. I wanted to wear something light. So, I found tan sailor pants with my pink blouse. I put my hair up in a messy bun and decided to go make-up less since we were doing facials also. I went downstairs and saw that everyone was already waiting for me. Julie, Sage, and I walked out and saw that Amanda was already

waiting for us with a car and our security taking us to the spa.

"Luna, I will be taking you to the spa today. My name is Anthony. I am head security of the Silver Moon Pack. We will also be taking 8 other people. Today we have had a lot of strange activities and want to keep you and the girls as safe as possible." Says the man that opens the door.

"Thank you for taking us today, Anthony. Do you think eight people is necessary? I think you and two others would have been fine." I mention to him as the girls got in the car first.

"Again, it has not been safe recently. We had a few attacks within the last few weeks. Mostly rouge. The location was far from the attacks." He then gestured me to get in the car. I got in and he went to the driver side of the car. I notice that as we drove, he stopped for a car to go ahead of him while another waited. Then he went and the other car followed. I guess you should never be too

cautious.

It was a 15 min drive to the spa. Once we got there the girls could not contain their excitement. I was excited too; I just had these feeling that something was going to happen.

"Rosalie. Are you ok?" Julie says to me.

"Yes Julie. I am ok. Just want to enjoy it." I say to her.

"Don't tell me you have cold feet already Rosalie. Please do not leave my brother!" Sage says.

"Sage you are hilarious. I am not leaving him. I do not have cold feet. I am just exhausted from all this planning." I said to her.

The spa was a booming with people today. Since the wedding was tomorrow and people were going in and out. I am glad Sage was able to book a spot for all 4 of us to enjoy this.

"I have a booking for 11am for Sage, Julie, Rosalie and Amanda" she says to the receptionist.

"Yes. Welcome to Day Spa. Your accommodation will be ready soon. Let me tell the person in charge of your services today." she says to Sage. "If you could just sit and, we will be right with you."

We sat down and the receptionist went to get the person in charge of our services. We were talking among ourselves when the lady returned with an older lady.

"Welcome Luna and guest. My name is Lilac. I will be assisting you with your services." says the older lady. Lilac... That name was from the lady in my dreams.

"Hello Lilac." I said to her and shook her hand. She just casually shook my hand and gestured us to follow her. We went to the back room where there was a VIP room for special guest. She let us know that there were locker rooms for each of us and to change into robes and we get to use the sauna first. Once we were done with the sauna, we went to do facials and then got manicures and pedicures. We had a lunch and talked about the wedding some more then how we would transition the reception to the Luna ceremony. Next we had massages and we started getting ready to head out.

Before we left, Lilac said her goodbyes and asked us to come again. She looked at me and personally wanted to thank me for coming. Then something change in her as everyone turned their backs and left.

"Do not forget. Follow your instincts. It will lead you to where you need to go. You are so close." Lilac says to me. I stood there for a moment.

"Rosalie you coming." says Julie. I looked at Lilac and she looked at me with confusion. It is almost like she didn't know what just happened.

"That was so refreshing. I know that I need this. I miss last week." says Sage.

"Last week. You come here every week?" ask Amanda.

"Yeah. I need pampering. My mother and I live in a house filled with men. Gotta get away some how." Sage says with a chuckle. "It is ok. Rosalie is here now. I won't be so alone."

"Yes Sage. I just don't think we will be doing too many spa days though." I mention to her and she gave me a smirk.

"We will see Rosalie." She says getting into the car. Just as she got in I saw that Anthony was on alert and so were the other men.

"Anthony, everything ok?" I asked him. He looked at me and said "It will be fine. Let's get you guys back to the pack house immediately." He says.

As soon as we get in the car, you could see that they were in some kind of a rush. Everyone ran into the cars and off we were. Seems like he was speeding a little bit then I notice there were wolves running in the forest.

"Anthony!" I spoke to him in my Luna tone.

"Extra security. A pack of rouges were spotted not to far from here. Vince sent them to help us." He said in submission.

"Rouges never come this far. This is so far from the pack lands and it nearly close to the Old Ruins. Rouges don't venture to the Old Ruins." Sage says out loud.

"I am not sure why they are out this far. But we have security on it right now. First let's get you all to the pack house" Anthony says.

We got to the pack house in no time. As soon as we got the pack house door Vince, David and Ethan were already waiting for us. We all got out of the car with the others waiting for directions. I was going to walk up to Vince but Ethan stopped me.

"Sorry Luna. He has a few things to sort out. Let's get you to safety first." Ethan says then gesture us inside. He lead us to the elevators and went to the basement. He lead us to the training room they use during winter storms and in the far corner he lead us to another door that lead to stairs. We went about 2 flights down before he lead us to a space built for living.

"This is the safe room. It was built a long time ago in case of rouge attacks. We were supposed to have a drill today. I guess the drill is canceled. There are non-perishable food items stored in the pantry. I will be outside the door." Ethan says to us. "Your family is already here." Then he leaves.

Then I hear my mom and dad. "Oh Rosalie! Julie! I am so glad to you are here." Says my mom. "Thomas, go help Ethan with security outside the door." My father demand my brother. He nodded his head yes and went to join Ethan. Then he went and sat the closest to the door. Just then David entered and joined my dad.

"Ah, two old farts like us get to sit here and watch our women." David said. "Rosalie, Vince wanted to let you know that everything is ok. He will be back before you know it."

Well that is enough for now. I could still feel my anxiety building up. I was worried. Two different rouge attacks. How often have the attacks happen? How come Vince has never mention a thing to me. I started to pace a little when Julie grabbed my hands.

"It's going to be alright sis. He will be back." Julie says to me.

"Thanks. Its just weird that this is happening now." I said to her. "But if we are here, were are the other pack members and the other alpha's and their lunas." I asked David.

"We have many safe rooms. This one was designed only for the Alpha and Luna families in case of emergencies." David said.

"Each location is designed for different occasions. Out of state alpha and Luna get their one safe rooms. As for woman and children. each house has a safe room, for those inside the pack house they have their own too." Elenora adds in. "We do this for the safety of the Luna of this pack. Only the family knows where this is. As for the pack workers, they could stay in the designated area for their safety or the tunnels that lead to their homes and families. The safe room for out of state Alpha and Luna's are designed to have them have their own space and they have their own small housing." She continued.

That makes a lot of sense. Then people would never know the location of the actual Luna of this pack. Most packs have one safe room for the whole pack.

"When We do this we always have lower pack members go first then the other alpha's and luna's. Which we always know an alpha always is willing to fight. So the lunas have a common room they all share. We are always the last to go." Elenora says. "But we also have a different way from the alpha's room to get here. So not to worry. Maybe Vince can show you."

After she explains everything to me, she decide to make a small snack for everyone. I helped her make food and dessert but I couldn't help glance over at my dad and David. I could tell they were looking at something on the screen they had. I guess Elenora notice I was gawking at them.

"Dear, they are looking at security footage. Probably at the first gate. Seeing if anyone made it past the first wall and on to the second." Elenora says, it kind of caught me off gaurd.

"Sorry. I just can't help it." I said to her.

"It's ok. I use to look at them when I was hiding here with my children. I had to make sure my mate was ok. You can go over and look" Elenora says before shooing me away.

I walked over to them to take a peek. David notice that I had walked over.

"Want a sneak peek." He says motioning to the tv screen. Sure enough, they were footage of the outside wall. You could see there was a fight going on between wolves. "Vince has already left the sceen dear. He had to go somewhere else." My dad said to me.

That got me a little worried but then David change the screen to show me that he was fine. Fighting another battle that was looking like they were losing for a moment.

"where are all these rouges coming from?" I said out loud. Then I covered my mouth.

"I couldn't tell you. But this is more then the last few attacks." David said to me. He could tell I was concern. "It's ok. This will be over soon." He tried to reassure me. I couldn't help but stare at the screen and I saw that more and more were just coming in. Vince please be safe.

I couldn't watch anymore and decided to go back and help Elenora with dinner. Since this was not looking like it was lightening up anytime soon. She went from making small snacks to a full meal.

"Why are we making so much food right now?" I asked her.

"Oh. I just think we should have dinner. I am sure the others are doing the same. We do keep them updated about the attacks. They may not get the surveillance but they do get reports from our security that is located at their doors." Elenora said to me.

Julie and Sage started to ask me questions and trying to distract me. Although it was working a little, it was not working enough. As a Luna I should be able to do more then just hide in the safe room. I should be out with my mate fighting.

'Rosalie, I think we could sit on this' says Gia.

'What do you mean sit on it? Our mate is out there fighting.' I say to her. 'Are we just a pretty face?'

'Well he is coming back and it seems like the rouges are gone' she says to me.

After about 15 mins, Vince walks in the door all wet and half naked.

"The rouges are gone. They have retreated. I am guessing its best that we stay in the safe rooms. Everyone has been warned. Tomorrow we are having the wedding in the hall." Vince mentions to his dad.

I run up to him and stop before hugging him. He had time to shower?

"Rosalie. You're safe." He says and hugs me.

"And your clean?" I said out loud.

He laughed and said "Thanks for worrying about me too. I am ok. Yes I am clean. I still need a shower but I at least cleaned the blood off before coming here. I stopped off at the pond and took a dive. Thought you would want a clean mate to run and hug." As he started to laugh again.

He left to the room and took a shower. When he came back the table was set for all of us to eat and we were all off to bed. Once Vince and I got to the room we shared, he went straight for the bed.

"I am exhaughsted. We just switch out the gaurds for different ones and hope that it helps out in with new eyes out there watching. I hope they don't call us for another attack while everyone is sleeping." he says while holding me. "I wouldn't want to leave your side my love."

"I hope they do not return either Vince. I was so worried about you." I said to him but he was already snoring. I was trying my best to sleep but could not. So I turned to face him and touched his face. Slowly I started drifting off to sleep.
