Unfolding

After the conversation with my parents, I just needed time to myself. I went to my room and locked myself in. I needed to sit in my thoughts and figure myself out. ‘Gia, why did you not tell me this stuff?’ I asked my wolf. ‘We do not see what others see. Something is blinding us from the truth. I am sorry. I just realized it this today also.’ Gia responded. Something blinds us…. I thought for a long while before it dawned on me. The tea… I mind linked my mother. Within minutes my mother was at my door. She before she knocked, I had already opened the door. I gestured her to come in and sit down at the couch. “What is wrong dear? Why did you call me here?” She asked. She looked a little worried, but she had a little box with her. “I just want to know the full truth. What is in the tea I have been drinking all these years?” I asked her. Then I looked at her box and at her face. She sighed and opened the box. There was a small vile. It had silver look to it. “Wolfbane with a little bit of silver. It’s enough to suppress your wolf without hurting you. It was also supposed to change the color of your wolf. Just a few drops in your tea. This has never had a full effect like it does with us. It took years before we found out that this was the only way to make your wolf weak enough to be a normal wolf.” She said to me with guilt in her eyes. “What are you talking about mother? Are you saying that I could be more, and you took that ability from me?” I asked in shock. She nods her head yes. “You were born a wolf. We had to hide you from the world until you were 3 years old. That was when your human formed.” “And what did you tell everyone else when I was born?” I suddenly asked. “We told everyone that you were sick.” She looked away from me and put her head down. She was disappointed and you could see it. She had to hide this from not only me but our entire pack. “It was the only way we could make sure you’d be safe. We were afraid if people knew they would come get you. After a few years, the rouges started attacking us.” She spoke. “Do we even know what they are looking for?” I asked. “About 6 years ago we caught a rouge. He said his Alpha was talking about finding the source of the Moonlight power. One day the power would create a new life and this life would be never have an end. It would be the source of strength for all creatures under the Moonlight.” She spoke. “Do we know of this source?” I asked her “We have searched for it all over the Old Ruins. We have not found it. Your father was frustrated and that is what made the battle between Golden Moon and Silver Moon worse. He wanted to search the city from it. From my understanding they have never found this source either. The source is what holds the life of the king and queen.” She spoke. What holds the king and queen?? What kind of a source is that? What could be strong enough to hold a Kin of the Moon Goddess? ‘You’ Gia said ‘ME! What are you talking about Gia?’ I said to her ‘You are the source of life. You were created to end this senseless war. I can feel the surge of power coming through. I feel that our mate is close, and he is worried about us. I can feel my king is near and he needs his queen.’ Said Gia. I felt the pull. My mother looked at me with confusion. I knew Vincent was just down the hall I could smell him from here. My mother gasped when she realized that since I have not drunk my tea my real form was showing. She looked scared all at the same time. There was a small knock at the door. My mother hugged me quickly and went to open it. Vincent was standing there with black eyes like he was in a trance. My mother quickly left us and closed the door. “I can smell you. You smell sweeter and its intoxicating.” He said to me. He was slowly making his way to me. I stood up and I could smell his scent of fresh rain and cut grass. I could hear Gia howling in my head. I looked Vincent in the eyes, and I felt lost in his soul. He put his hands on my face and I could feel the electricity run through my body. Then he put his forehead against mine and stayed there for a moment. “It feels nice to finally feel you. Why did it take you so long to give me all of you?” he asked then placing a kiss on my forehead. “The love of my parents to keep me hidden.” I said to him. Which made me push me and look at me with confusion in his eyes. “It’s a long story, I will explain it to you another time.” “I have all day my love!” He said to me. That last part made me blush. This is the first time I have ever felt this way about anyone. I told him everything, I never thought someone would make feel so calm and relieved. I was starting to feel complete and feel like he was really trying to understand my pain. He looked at me and said “If our child was as special as you. I would have done the same thing your parents did to you. I would protect my pup from any danger. I feel what your parents did was right. They were just trying to keep you away from prying eyes. I thank them for that because it led you to me.” He then grabbed my hand and kissed it. Maybe he is right. I would do the same if I had a pup with special abilities. I am glad my parents did this too. Now we must make sure we can get through this wedding without issues. I just remembered in about 3 months me, and Vincent will be getting married. I looked at him and he seemed so mellow about the whole situation we are currently in. He seems so down to earth about it. I am sure somewhere he is feeling stressed out about this too. “If you take a picture, it last longer.” He said to me. I didn’t notice I was staring I had started tuning everything out and thinking about just him. “We never really talked about you yet?” I said, “What is running through your mind?” “Well, one is how to keep you out of danger. I am sure you are the reason the rouges keep attacking. But I also have a confession. My Wolf is the silver wolf. I never thought it would make a difference until your parents told the story. I never knew the King’s wolf was silver. I everyone only knew the Queens wolf was white. So, what does that make us.” He said to me. I looked at him for a while and thought about what to say. When I flash of light came out of nowhere and we were not in a different place. It was magical, white fountains that glisten in the light, different kinds of plants and trees. It was a beautiful garden. The grass was green and there was a marble path where a beautiful lady stood and a man. They were holding hands. The lady was wearing a beautiful floor length, A-line, white dress. The sleeves were see-through and covered her shoulders then split off and ran down her dress. The man was wearing a grey shirt with a matching pair of pants. He had on white shoes, and he turned around to look at us. He had dark brown hair and a beard to match it. It was all nicely trimmed; he had an oval face with a sharp chin. His eyes were light grey. “Selene, I believe we have visitors. She is as radiant as the day she was born.” He spoke. That is when Selene turned around. She had long, light brown curls and light blue eyes. She had a heart shaped face and she smiled brightly at us. “At last, I get to see your beautiful face. It is different watching you from up here. You parents must be proud. They raised you well my sweet girl.” She finally said to us. Is it us? Sounds more like she was talking to just me…. “And you look stunning. Still a perfect match. I still trust you two will rule like you once did.” She said looking at Vincent. “Excuse me… Who are you?” I said with confusion. “Sorry, my name is Selene, you know me as the Moon Goddess. This is my brother Helios the God of the Sun.” She said to us. “My BOY!” Helios said to Vincent. I don’t get it why are they saying this to us, it’s almost like we are their children… What is going on. “Helios! Heel. They do not know.” Selene held Helios back. You can see the sadness in his eyes. “I waited years for this, and I have to wait longer to hold my child again.” Helios said upset with Selene. “We do owe them the explanation do we not. After many attempts this is the first that we get to have them here with us.” Said Selene. "But that will have to wait for another time. It is time to return them. They have been here too long."
