Killian's POV I took a deep breath, trying to keep my voice level. "Give me a minute, Victor." He blinked, mouth opening, but I didn't wait for permission. Rae's voice-sweet, soft, searching-called again "Killian? Baby? Where are you?" It had come from the back of the house, near the patio doors. She was looking for me. She needed me.
