Rae's POV I woke slowly, wrapped in warmth and the faint scent of cedar and sleep-warm skin. For a moment I didn't know where I was. The sheets were softer than mine, the mattress deeper, and there was a heavy arm locked around my waist like an iron band. A leg was thrown over both of mine, pinning me gently but firmly in place. Killian's chest rose and fell against my back, slow and steady, his breath tickling the tiny hairs at my nape. He'd carried me to the pool house. I remembered falling asleep on the couch sometime after the credits rolled, my cheek on his chest, his fingers drawing lazy circles on my hip. I must have been completely out, because I had zero memory of the walk here. Now we were tangled together in his king-sized bed, fairy lights he must have switched on
