“This Friday is a good date,” Mrs. Mahima said, her tone calm but firm. Simran blinked, taken aback. “Wouldn’t that be a bit too soon?” she asked, her voice uncertain. “I mean… how will we arrange everything? The guests, the venue—” "I will arrange everything for marriage" Mrs Mahima said leaving no room for argument. Simran clenched her fist in anger. Simran don't like it when someone tries to make her feel inferior. "I don’t want any grand celebrations. A court marriage will be enough," Atharva said—his voice calm, yet commanding enough to leave no space for protest. Mahima paused, reading the finality in his tone, then simply nodded in silence. Everyone got busy in talking. Aranya was playing with her bracelet. Atharva noticed the bracelet for the first time which he didn't noticed before because of her beauty. "What is your name" Atharva whispered. Aranya lifted her eyes to meet his. "Aranya" she whispered back like him. He smiled. The rarest smile of Atharva Singhania. "Do you my name?" Atharva asked in a whisper. Aranya nodded. "Atharva" she whispered. He stopped moving. The air around him seemed to shift. Slowly, his eyes lifted to meet hers, the flicker of something unreadable behind them. "Say it again" He said looking intensely at her. "Atharva?" She made a cute baby expression and his heart started beating rapidly. He suddenly started craving to touch her cheeks and pinch them. "Aranya go back to your room it's time for your medicine" Mahima said and Aranya's attention shifted from Atharva to Mahima. Yeah obviously Atharva didn't liked it. "We should take our leave now" Kunal said standing from chair. Simran followed his action. Mahima nodded. "The groom clothes will go from our side" Mahima said looking at Atharva. "I will give my brother's size" Aditya said with a large excited smile. Soon the Singhania family went towards the exit. Mahima followed them from behind. They all went towards their car. Atharva went towards his car. He turned back and looked up. His eyes met Aranya's eyes who was standing on balcony. As their eyes met Aranya started waving him. Atharva smiled and whispered in himself "Kid". He sat on his car and soon Singhania family left. Atharva went to his private villa where Vyom was already present. Atharva's always cold aura is back now. He sat on the hall sofa like a king. "Report" Atharav said coldly. "Boss looks like Vish will attend tonight party to increase her influence" Vyom said standing straight. "We are going to attend the party too" Atharva said coldly. Vyom nodded. Atharva went upstairs to his room. He opened his laptop where there was a photo of a girls back profile. Suddenly a message popped up in his screen "Still finding me Spade". Atharav's eyes stayed on that message he stared at that message. "Vish" He replied. A message again popped up "Looks like you don't have any enemy except me". “I don’t take ants as enemies.” Atharva’s eyes were calm , almost bored, as he leaned back in his chair. “I step on them.” “Careful, Spade.” “Some ants bite back… and infect the whole system before you even notice.” Atharav's eyes stayed on last message. "Huh, bite me" he said coldly. He shut his laptop with a quiet click, the screen fading to black. Without a word, he walked into the bathroom and turned on the cold shower. The icy water hit his skin like a shock, but he didn’t flinch. He welcomed it. Needed it. He leaned against the wall, eyes closed, letting the water pour over him. But even in the silence… she appeared. Aranya. Her face soft, innocent, untouched by the world he lived in flashed in his mind like a ghost that refused to leave. The gentleness in her eyes, the way she said his name for the first time… His jaw tightened. “Aranya Singh…” He muttered to himself, voice low, unreadable. “…would be Aranya Singhania.” Atharva stepped out of the bathroom, his body still damp from the shower, a towel hanging low around his waist. His movements were calm, controlled, as if he were preparing for something that needed his full attention. He walked over to his closet, pulling out a shirt a crisp, black button-up and a jacket that seemed to breathe danger into the air. Today wasn’t like any other day. He isn't wearing his business attire today. His aura was more dangerous today. With one final glance at his reflection, he headed downstairs. Vyom was already waiting at the foot of the stairs, dressed in a similar outfit dark, sleek, and just as deadly. They both went towards car. Vyom sat on driving seat. "The party is a Masquerade party" Vyom said breaking the car's silence. "No one has ever seen Vish except her partner Raina". "Then we will use her to find Vish" Atharva said coldly. Vyom nodded. Soon the car reached in front of a club. Atharva went off car and went inside the club. Vyom followed him. VISH'S MANSION The villa echoed with low beats playing in the background—some old jazz remix Vish liked. But inside those rooms? It was nothing less than war prep. Vish stood in front of her full-length mirror, barefoot, her black robe slipping down her arms seductively exposing her beautiful bone. Her dress was already waiting jet black, backless, hugging every inch like it was tailored on her skin. The slit ran dangerously high, and tonight, she wasn’t covering it. She stepped into the dress, dragging the zipper up slowly. Her body looked like art and a threat wrapped in velvet. Her fingers reached for the black matte mask with silver edges, brushing along it like a promise. Across the hall, Raina was chaos in wine red. The gown was deep, bold, back open, and neckline dangerously low. She tucked one curl behind her ear and looked at herself in the mirror like she already knew men were going to beg tonight. She picked a lace mask, something between mystery and mischief. Her heels clicked softly as she walked over to the perfume stand, spritzed her signature scent on her collarbone, and smirked. Both doors clicked open at the same time. Vish and Raina stepped into the hallway. Two storms. One in black. One in red. Both dressed to destroy. Raina looked her up and down. “We’ll own the room.” Vish didn’t even blink. She wore the mask and replied coldly— “We’ll burn it.” Vish and Raina went out of villa. They took different car. "Let's have a race" Raina said with a smile. "You will lose" Vish winked at her. "Let's bet the one who will lose have to do a dare" Raina replied. Soon they started their car. Both of the car was talking with air. Our girls shining in the darkness of night. They both reached in front of the club at the same time.
