My Mate, Her Brother

Chapter Two

I wake up early on the day of my birthday. Today I don't have to go to school because I have to get ready for my birthday. I get up, shower, brush hair and teeth, do my hair and makeup. When I get done with my hair and makeup I go to my closet and grab my dress. I take it out of the bag and unzip the zipper. Once I am in it I call for someone to help me zip it up again.

 I put the shoes that came with the dress on my bed as I went to pick out my jewelry. Once school Is finished Silver and Chanse come over to get ready as well. I help Silver with her hair, makeup, and her dress. After helping Silver I help Chanse with his tie and hair. 

 After hours of getting ready and waiting the party finally start and it's time for me to be introduced. I wait for my name to be called before I walk down the long staircase. At the bottom my brother waits to escort me to the dance floor. My brother hugs me and we start to slow dance to a soft melody. 

 I dance with about every male in the room and none are my mate. My wolf starts to whimper at the thought of not finding her mate. After dancing most of the night I take a break to get a drink and sit down for a few minutes. I get some vodka on the rocks with some coke. I find a place to sit for a few and rest. After a while Ace comes to see if I am okay.”You ok, sis?” He asks with a worried look on his face. 

“ I am fine , brother. Just tired is all.” I say, looking up at him with a reassuring smile on my face. After a while the party ends and everyone goes home. I go up to my room and get in the shower. Once I am done I get out, put my pajamas on and lay down. As soon as my head hits the pillow I fall asleep. 

 The next day I get up for school and do my daily routine. Once I am done I go down stairs to eat breakfast with Ace. We both hurry up and finish eating. “Do you need a ride to school today? I don’t have to be at the pack house for another hour if you do.” Ace says looking at his watch. I look up at the clock to see It is 7:20 A.M. and I only have twenty minutes to get to school. 

  “A ride would be great. Thank you.” I say as I get up to grab my bag and my coffee cup. We both head to the garage and hop into his car. I don't have my own car yet because I can’t seem to find one that catches my attention. We get into his car and pull out of the garage. Once we are on the road we take off towards my school. 

“Have A good day,sister.” Ace says as I get out of the car when we reach the school. As soon as I get out an amazing smell hits my nose. It smells like vanilla and the forest. I wave goodbye to my brother as I start walking towards the school. I open the doors to the school and the smell gets stronger.

I head to first hour. My teacher looks at me and smiles. Not too much longer a boy who I have never met before walks into the classroom. When he walks through the door the air fills with the scent of vanilla and the forest. 'MATE" my wolf, Scarlet, screams in my head. He looks at me as soon as he catches my scent. He talks to the teacher for a few minutes and then walks over to me.

"May I sit here?" He asks me, looking me in the eyes. I nod, not being able to find the words to say anything. " My name is Jeremiah. What's yours, Mate?" He says introducing himself to me.

 "My name is Lily. It's nice to meet you Jeremiah." I say extending my hand to shake his. Instead of shaking my hand he takes my hand and kisses my knuckles. He looks up at me with the kindest look in his eyes. " So I hear you have a sister in this school. Is it ok if i ask who it is?" I say, not knowing what to talk about. I look down blushing with embarrassment. He lightly puts his fingers under my chin and lefts my head up to look at him. When I am facing him he has the cutest smile on his face. 

After a while the bell rings and class starts. I sit in class beside my mate having a hard time paying attention. ‘ He smells so good’ My wolf pers in my head . After a while of zoning out the bell finally rings. I get up and rush to my next class. After the second period the day seems to fly by.
