Kane sat in Rick’s office waiting for him, it was four days after they had found Carrie dead, and they had all decided that they needed to find out what Rick knew.
Rick had gone out on a case, but his PA had allowed Kane to wait in his office, no doubt from the amount of times she had seen Kane with him.
She had only been waiting for a few minutes when curiosity got the better of her and she made her way over to the file cabinet, pulling out the file under Goran’s name she browsed through, noting that Rick had not updated that it was suspected that Goran was still alive.
Placing the file back in the cabinet, she glanced at the door before searching for Carrie’s file.
She was still searching when she heard Rick’s voice, closing the cabinet she sat back down just in time for him to walk
