Kane stood on the docks, staring out at a choppy dark sea.
Kane studied the area around her, she stood on a pier, but she couldn't tell where it was because it was right in the middle of the ocean.
There was nothing but dark water surrounding her for miles.
"What is going on now?" She took a futile step back as the water began to cover the wood under her feet, the waves lapping at her bare toes.
There was a voice calling her name in the distance, which made no sense because there was no one out there.
Crouching, she laid her hand down in the water that was now up to her ankles, "Why am I here?"
It was then that she heard sinister laughing, it was almost as if it was coming from right behind her.
