Lyra "A filthy Rogue dares to give me orders?!" Cedric shoved me aside, quickly stepping in front of Elara to shield her. Kael remained perfectly still at the edge of the altar. The rusted iron mask obscured his face, and his legs were still hidden beneath the heavy blanket. To the untrained eye, he looked like nothing more than a broken vagabond clinging to life. Cedric stared at him for a few seconds. The momentary, instinctual terror that had gripped his wolf quickly morphed into burning humiliation.
