4I arrived at Cedar Park High School right at one. The school had a good academic reputation. We had put our kids into an immersion program where, starting at age six, they spoke nothing but French. Over time, English was gradually introduced such that, by grade six, the day split fifty-fifty between the two languages. It had been a good decision giving them, in my opinion, a broader view of the world, greater insight into other cultures and customs, better job prospects and a jump on learning other languages from the same family.
