Chapter 24After two days at sea, Sapphyre's seasickness subsides and she is contemplating exiting her quarters and venturing above decks. The constant sound of pattering feet and the dim shouts of the sailors confirms that it is daylight and Sapphyre sits up warily. As her socks hit the wood and she starts to rise, the ship swerves violently, knocking her to the floor leaving her scurrying to get up. The shouts of the men are louder now, and Sapphyre reaches for her dagger and sheaths it in her belt before bolting out the door and up the stairs to the deck.
As Sapphyre's eyes adjust to the light, she turns her head to the right, and coming into focus she sees sailors with their weapons drawn. They are running past her to the back of the ship in some type of battle formation. Sapphyre turn
