Chapter 25Sapphyre fights bouts of nausea over the next eight nights on the voyage to Flotine, but there are no lushwyrms, pirates, or any other hostile obstacles impeding their passage. The weather turns sour the evening of the battle and snow falling like sheets of ice pounds the Sweeping Swallow relentlessly day in and day out. Although the sailors can't see three feet in front of them on some occasions, Katrivus assures Sapphyre and the others that thanks to the wizards, they know they are on course. Sapphyre finally catches some sleep when the weather breaks on the night before they arrive at Flotine. Sapphyre awakes to the sound of jubilant cheers from the crew above and quickly rises from her slumber to see what is afoot. She exits her cabin and instead of heading directly upstairs
