Chapter 38Sleeth exits the portal from the Demon Realm into his private quarters in the basement of the Temple of the Dark Gods, fresh with the knowledge of where Aschon and his companions began their trek somewhere to the east. As he always does when he enters his chambers, he removes the ward protecting the ancient tome and removes the sacred book, placing it upon his desk. He always laughs to himself for putting a ward around the book, knowing that it isn't going anywhere it didn't wish to be.
