“What a pleasant surprise!!! You guys have to tell me in advance next time, too much joy might kill me.” Denny was laughing heartily as he spread his arms for the young couple to embrace him as they arrived.
“Sorry about that, Grandpa. It was my whole idea, to surprise you.” John apologized as they approached the old man. Diane was first to embrace Denny who was standing by the front door of his mansion. He usually had his walking stick but as he welcomed the two youngsters, he handed his stick to his butler who was faintly smiling behind the old Miller.
