“John, what would you like me to prepare for you this weekend?” Betty Richards was so excited that even though it was only Thursday morning, she called John to ask.
“Grandma, it’s only Thursday. We still have three days to think about it”, he politely replied.
Betty was addled. Three days from today would be Sunday.
“Do you mean to come on Sunday, not on Saturday?” She usually goes to meet her old friends on Sunday if not visiting the closest temple.
“I have something to do on Saturday this weekend. If you are busy on Sunday, I can come over next weekend to have lunch with you.” John didn’t want to elaborate to his grandma about his plans with Diane. She might insist he bring Diane over her Manor with him for a meal if she knew he was spending a day with Diane.
