“If that is the case, I hope I am looking at my grandson's future grandpa in law”, Betty smiled back at him.
Denny laughed heartily at her words and raised his glass of juice to celebrate.
“We have the same prayers. I have also checked on your grandson’s background and I have known he is absolutely the best catch.” Denny was complimenting but his words can be sensed with pride for himself.
“Of course, he is. I believe your lovely Diane is equally the same.” Betty was not upset hearing his words about background checking John. She did the same with Diane and as parents or grandparents, they are just after the goodwill of their beloved children.
