As John watched how carefree she is around him, he felt his personal barriers peel off around him too. He had never had this feeling in his whole life that he is somewhat afraid if he gets too involved, he might regret getting all this started. He is fearful he might not be equally satisfying to her as she is to him, as a companion, as a friend. But then again, this feeling is so entertaining that he wishes it never fades so soon. He tried to ignore his deeper thoughts and enjoy the moment. Worrying about anything won’t change a thing. It will only cheat you of the joy the moment is presenting.
“Mmmm, this wine really complements the steak. I don’t mean to tease you. I just didn’t expect you to actually change my menu. Now I feel sorry for you,” she sensibly voiced her apology.
