They arrived at the dining area a few steps earlier than Peter. He was actually a bit nervous to come out of the study room where they held the meeting a while ago. He did not know how to bring himself to face his dearly missed son and soon to be wife. He knew too well that he had made a very bad impression towards his son so he cannot dare to expect how John may treat him. But then he is aware that he cannot stay in the room and avoid or chicken out meeting them. He is also excited to reunite with his son and finally meet the girl who wonderfully changed his son from cold to warm personality. John was helping his grandma sit when Peter came into the dining room and Betty saw him first.
