Maggie walked out of the bedroom and then the house without speaking to anyone. She kept walking until she was next to her car. Why had she come here? What answers had she been hoping for?
No, not answers. That was a convenient lie. She’d wanted to see what Shane would do. How he would react to her being in his house. Talking about s*x and being his girlfriend. Opening up and sharing a piece of herself she’d thought he hadn’t known.
