Lily woke up early the next morning to a delicious tingle between her thighs. Archer woke her up a few hours after she went to sleep smelling like he’d just taken a shower. He got dirty all over again with her, then wrapped her in his arms and passed out.
She thought he’d still be there when she woke up, but he was already gone. Muffled voices told her Jack was awake also, just like the morning before.
Lily got dressed and opened her door. It swung open silently, letting her hear what they were saying without them realizing she was there.
“That’s a lot of people to look into,” Jack said.
“I know. But it’s the only lead we have.”
“It sucks not having the resources we’re used to.”
