I work all Monday morning on the menus. It's quite peaceful.

He helps me up. "Did you?"

"Woman, did you go to school?"
"No. I don't want to do that."
"You need to... Come on. Let's go fix this." He puts his arm around me and leads me to Dipak's office.
Everyone is around the conference table. "Everything ok?"
"Yea. I'm working on the menus."
"No. She's not going to school. She needs to go to her classes."
Marcus sits back. "Star, you do need to go. This is getting to be too much."
I push my bottom lip out and let it quiver.
"No. Tomorrow, you are going back to school."
