The next morning Kassandra started teaching me lady like greetings, bowing, besides walking in the complete long dresses, and talking properly.
Asher came to the cottage and ask Kassandra how was the lessons going? Before even asking me to help him, he just expects me to be Luna no matter what. Asher comes up to me and I bowed to him in respect, but he told me in a harsh voice to never bow to him because I will be representing his mate, and that we are equals in the eyes of everyone.
After my grueling lessons and Asher yelling at me for my faults, I decided to take a walk into the woods before I blow up on him. Just close to the edge of Kassandra's property was a waterfall under a bridge. The scene calmed me, ChiChi, and Nova down. We must have stayed for hours until another werewolf showed up. He called me Luna. I figured he must know Asher's mate, before I could say "yes" He kissed me right away. I looked at him stunned, and the werewolf said "what is wrong my love?" while putting his fingers through my hair. I told him "I just don't feel good today". The werewolf says "Asher being a d**k again I see". I said to him "how do you know my mate?" The werewolf says "did you bump your head my love...Its me Scott".
My body froze at that moment, because Scott was one of the five originals and Asher's brother. I looked back at the waterfall while Scott sat beside me and took my hand into his. He looks at me again and says "run away with me, and I will take care of you" while kissing my hand. I was shock to learn Luna was having an affair with the third wolf when she was married to Asher, and started wondering was this a common thing for werewolves.
He got up and said "will you be okay here? I can walk you back to Kassandra cottage to make sure your safe". I look at him and say "I am okay", besides I don't think Asher would be happy if he saw me and his brother together". Scott says "okay sweetheart...take care of yourself and I will see you at the council meeting tomorrow" before leaving me at the waterfall.
I waited until he completely left and I started pacing back and forth trying to collect my thoughts. I have to play the real Luna and keep up a charade with werewolf number 1 and number 3. Wow my ancestor really liked her men, and hopefully I don't run into anymore of them.
I walked back to Kassandra's cottage, I walked right in the foyer and caught Asher kissing Kassandra. He looked at me with his killer eyes. He started yelling again at me because I never knocked on the door before entering to formally make my presents known. I look at Asher and say "for an ancestor you really suck.. no wonder Luna ran away from you. Your such a stick in the mud. I am not a child so stop treating me like one" before leaving the room and heading upstairs for the night.
After Asher left, Kassandra knocked on my door asking me "are you okay? I know Asher is being mean to you, but he is really a nice man when you get to know him". I tell Kassandra "trust me I know him" before she walked back down the stairs.
---------------------------------------- The Council Meeting ---------------------------------------------
I followed Kassandra to a secret passage in Asher's mansion. All dressed up like a proper Lady for that time. Asher was waiting for me at the stairs. Kassandra left us alone while Asher says "whatever you do, don't say anything, your not trained enough to act like my mate, and if you open your mouth they will know you are a fake" before leading me into a room.
The head table had a place in the middle for me and Asher, while Scott was on my Left side. Asher had his last brother and his mate on his right side. Everyone quiet down to hear the council speak of the wars between humans and the supernatural beings. I sat their quiet listen to the entire meeting like a good girl until Scott wanted to know my opinion on the situation.
Asher got mad knowing if I spoke one word they would know I was not his mate. Asher said "Luna has always been quiet during these proceedings before she makes her opinions known. Now lets us continue and get this meeting done. My mate and I have some planning to do to help us in this situation".
Scott looked at me funny and was waiting for me to say something against Asher's big mouth, but I did what I was told. After the meeting everyone left while I just stood in my seat waiting for everyone to leave the room.
I look at Asher while he lit a red candle which had magical properties to block werewolves in hearing our conversation. I look at him while saying "no wonder she left you. You have no shred of decency left in you. You act as if you are god's gift to the world and treat your mate like s**t". He looks at me and says "well if you were properly trained I wouldn't have to cut in". I look at him and say "properly trained! Listen here s**t head I am doing you a favor by acting like your mate as much as possible, and 2nd If you ever treat me like you did yesterday and today you can kiss this favor goodbye. You can go back playing kiss face with Kassandra in the woods for the rest of your life. I am leaving, and I am pretty sure I know how to get back to Kassandra cottage. GOODBYE!"
I walk out the door while slamming it shut. I start walking through the secret passage when I meet up with Scott. Scott takes my hand and says "lets go, we can do some watching in the town square and find some intel on what the humans are planning next". I let Scott lead me into town and help him with intel while his werewolves make sure me and Scott is safe from prying eyes.
When we got to the town square they were going to hang some werewolves, but before I could react Scott pushes me back and says "just watch sweetheart, nothing going to happen to them. My wolves will take care of it". In two seconds Scott wolves jumped through the square scaring the humans for a distraction while other wolves free the capture wolves from their death sentence. Scott ordered them into the woods and back to his mansion while he brought me into an alley.
He leaned me up against the wall before kissing me passionately. He says "why do you put up with him? We love each other. Come with me and leave him". I could tell Scott loved Luna more then anything and was willing to risk his life to protect her". I look at his beautiful Dark green eyes and said "I can't our people need me, and all of the five originals. We cannot abandoned them in times of need, we need to stay strong for them". Scott looks into my eyes and says "I love you, and you are right like always. Our people needs us, but Asher isn't much of a leader for this kind of job. You need to voice your opinion. The werewolves looked to you more then anyone, and they don't understand why you are letting Asher make all the decisions. You know Asher would sacrifice every werewolf to save his own skin. My love be careful, and if he lays a hand on you I would make my brother regret it" before kissing me one more time. He grabs my hand and leads me out of the alley and down a another path which lead to another mansion. I said to Scott "I need to get back before Asher knows I am gone. Scott says "I know it is dark, but hun I brought you back to your mansion. See look at it".
I said "yes you are right...sorry I just haven't been myself lately". Scott looks at me funny again and says "sweetheart...do you need to see a doctor. I can get one here to check you out". I tell Scott "I will be fine, I just need some rest. I haven't been sleeping much". He walks me right up the stairs to my mansion and inside. He decided to pick me off my feet and carry me to my bedroom". I ask him "to let me go" I sensed Asher around but couldn't quite place where he was.
Scott put me down on my feet, and opened the door to my bedroom at least that is what I thought, and to our surprise Asher was seating on the bed waiting to talk to me. Asher says "what are you doing with him?" I look at Scott and back at Asher while saying "Scott was helping back to MY mansion so I could get some sleep. Why are you here?" Asher says "Scott leave us NOW!" Scott eyes turned into his wolf eyes but I grabbed his arm and said "its okay..you can go". Scott looks at me then back at Asher before leaving the mansion.
Asher gets up from the bed and says "prancing around like a common w***e with another werewolf, especially my own brother. What would happen if someone had seen you two together. A lot of questions would be raised of you and me". I tell him "no one saw us, and I am not a w***e. The w***e in this mansion is you. You have no clue what I am to you, do you?" Asher looks at me and says "another headache from a different time and place. I knew that when I saw you". Tears started forming in my eyes while I looked at Asher before saying "I am the last of your bloodline. Now get out of my room!"
Asher walked out of the room and the servant called for his coach for him to leave. I layed down in my bed and closed my eyes.
