Somewhere In Time Part 3

Eventually Nolan finds me in my car passed out with some blood dripping from my mouth.  He grabs me and puts me in the passenger side while he jumps into the driver side, and start the car.  He takes me to his cottage in Incline Village.

He lays me down on a bed gently to not wake me up.  Then leaves the room while closing the door gently.

Nolan starts talking to witches that he has contact with.  He tells them about the situation and ask the witches to help him find a witch that possess the power to take me back to my own time.  He also tells the witches "she doesn't have much time left.  Money is no object.  I expect a call within 24 hours" before getting off his cell phone.

Nolan make sure the car will not start again by taking out the spark plugs and hiding them in the cottage.

By the time I woke up.. 2 days had passed and Nolan was in a chair beside my bed drinking coffee which is unusual for him.  I asked Nolan "where am I?" Nolan says "at my cottage in Incline Village".  I looked at Nolan and said "I can't be here Nolan we need to get out of this place".  Nolan says "you are perfectly safe here Alyra and I will not let anything happen to you".

I tell Nolan "my true mates live in this area and I am not planning on seeing them again".  Nolan says "what happen with you and your true mates for you to be so scared of this place?"  I look at Nolan and say "I married them and after giving them pups they decided to fool around with a she wolf for a year right in front of me, and had her pretend to be Luna at certain times when I was suppose to be by their sides.  Caleb died and when I went to visit him in the spirit world he moved on after he promised me he would wait for me as long as I lived for the both of us.  I kept my promise but he broke his.  Now you see why I need to change the past so I can have a future".

Nolan says "even if you manage on changing the past Alyra it doesn't mean the outcome will be different. If Caleb is meant to die, you just prolong the time frame he was suppose to die.  As for your true mates they don't deserve you.  If you do succeed on changing the past it means your pups would never be born.  Can you live with that?"

I drop my head and my heart pounds knowing I could never forgive myself for losing my pups, and Nolan is right.

I walk out of the bedroom and down the stairs while I head outside to sit down near the water to calm my soul.  Unfortunately I caught a familiar smell, Connor and Theron is near the cottage and they picked up on my scent.  I decided to get up slowly and make my way to the cottage but Connor comes out from the woods and says "mate please don't be scared" with Theron coming from behind him.

I tell Connor and Theron "to go away and leave me alone".  Theron stops me from walking past them by grabbing my arm while saying "please my love I have been waiting for you for a longtime".  I look at them angry while growling loud at them.  They both looked confused while Theron loosing his grip on me, and I rip my arm from him.

Connor stopped me the second time while saying "I am sorry if we scared and offended you.  We just want to talk to you".  I say to both of them "You are a bunch of impure werewolves, you are not faithful and very disrespectful to your own mate.  I don't have time for the both of you and your not worth my time".  Connor says "have we meet you before.  Why do you think that way about us?"  I tell Connor "I am the future mate from the both of you.  I give Theron triplets and you twins.  The she wolf name Brit is the one you both betray me by parading her around as Luna and sleeping with her for a whole year".  Connor and Theron says "If you are from the future what are you doing here?"  I tell them "I am here to change my future and get rid of the both of you in my life" before walking away from them.

Connor and Theron warriors couldn't believe what they heard and stayed very still waiting for their Alphas to give them new orders.  Connor looked at Theron and said "If she is from the future then we need to take the information she gave us and don't make the same mistake we have with her.  We need to find the one from this time and fix our mistakes before it happens".  Theron agreed before leaving the cottage area with Connor and the warriors.

I walked back into the cottage expecting Nolan to hover over me like my very own shadow, but he wasn't around.  I breathed a sigh of relief and sat down on the recliner watching a movie with candles lit on the coffee table.  I started to wonder about my pups and how they were doing without me.

Night time came fast and I walked back up to my room.  Nolan knocked on my door to check on me, and I told him "come in".  Nolan walks in while sitting on the side of my bed.  Nolan says to me "penny for your thoughts".  I tell him "Sometimes I feel there is a whole inside me.  An emptiness that at times seems to burn.  I think if you lifted my heart to your ear you probably hear the ocean.  I have this dream of being whole again.. not going to sleep each night wanting, but still sometimes I dream of a love even time would stand still for.  I just want someone to love me".

Nolan gives me a hug and a kiss on my forehead before leaving my room.  Eventually I fall asleep for the night.
