Chapter 11 WARNING: Mature Content Ahead “This is your room?” I switched on the light and looked at Lieutenant Fontanilla. He stood there with his hands in his pockets, completely still. “It’s not mine. It belongs to my friend’s cousin but I’ve been staying here the past few days,” I answered casually. He chuckled. “And you want us to do it here? Seriously, Miss Clemente? In a room that isn’t even yours?” I rolled my eyes and raised an eyebrow at him. “What do you want then? A hotel? Or my house? Why waste time when this place is already nearby?” His jaw dropped for a second before he let out a soft laugh and shook his head. “That’s not what I mean. What if the owner suddenly comes back—” “That won’t happen. He’s out of the country. And if you’re really scared someone might walk in, then just hurry up and do it. You talk too much.” I walked to the door and locked it, then turned back to him. “There. Locked. Don’t tell me you still have complaints.” He lifted an eyebrow. “Is this room soundproof—” I sighed loudly. Before he could finish, I crossed the space between us and pressed my lips against his. He froze for a second. When I pulled away, I looked straight into his eyes. His lips were slightly parted like he couldn’t believe what just happened. I smiled sweetly. “Why don’t we find out if it’s soundproof?” I saw his jaw tighten. I was about to tease him again when suddenly he closed the distance between us and crushed his lips against mine without warning. My mind went blank. It felt like the world stopped the moment he kissed me back… harder, deeper, like he was returning what I started. Afraid he might pull away, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back just as fiercely. I didn’t know how long we stayed like that. Seconds? Minutes? All I knew was that it was the longest kiss I had ever had. And surprisingly… I wanted more. Next thing I knew, my back was against the wall and Dylan’s mouth was on my neck. I knew it would leave marks, but that was the last thing I cared about. I shivered when I felt him slowly unzip my dress from behind. A soft moan escaped my lips. My dress fell to the floor. I bit my lip when the cold air from the air conditioner hit my bare skin but the chill vanished when he unclasped my bra. My eyes widened when he slipped it off so easily, like he had done it a thousand times before. My jaw clenched. So he really was used to this… with his ex. For a moment, I wanted to cover myself out of sudden embarrassment. But my pride wouldn’t let me. I lifted my chin and met his gaze. “Why?” he asked quietly. “Backing out now?” I glanced at the bed behind him. Then I grabbed his tie and shoved him down onto it. “W–What—” I didn’t answer. I unbuckled his belt and started undoing the buttons of his pants. My breath hitched as I pulled down his zipper, but before I could finish, he caught my hand. “You don’t have to force yourself,” he said gently. I bit my lip and looked up at him. “Do you really think I’m a coward?” “No. I don’t.” “Then undress yourself.” He hesitated, watching me like he expected me to change my mind. I didn’t. I held his gaze, daring him. He let out a sharp breath and unzipped his pants completely. I stepped back as he kicked them off, leaving only his boxers. “If you’re going to back out, do it now,” he warned. “Don’t regret it later.” “Why would I?” I shot back. “I started this.” He clicked his tongue and pulled off the rest of his clothes. My eyes widened. I swallowed hard. I wasn’t innocent, I knew that. But… could I really handle that? “You look stunned. Changing your mind—” I didn’t let him finish. I reached out and wrapped my hand around him. He gasped. My hand trembled, but I didn’t stop. I moved slowly, testing, exploring. A low moan slipped from his lips. Something snapped inside me. I didn’t want to be second best. I didn’t want to be compared to his ex. I wanted to be better. I leaned down, my heart pounding, and took him into my mouth. It was overwhelming. My eyes watered. My hands clutched his thighs as he guided my head gently, moving with me instead of forcing me. Minutes passed like that… slow, dizzying, unreal. “Oh… Kaia…” Hearing my name from his lips sent a shiver down my spine. When he warned me he was close, I didn’t stop. And when it happened, I swallowed without thinking. He stared at me in shock. “Did you… swallow?” I nodded, licking my lips. He groaned. “f**k… that’s hot.” He pulled me onto the bed. “Did you like it,” I asked breathlessly, “or do you want more?” Instead of answering, he hovered over me and cupped my chest. “My turn.” His mouth made me gasp. His hands were rough and demanding, and my body answered without thinking. By the time he moved between my legs and slid my underwear down, I was shaking. “Beautiful,” he whispered. His mouth found me and I cried out, gripping his hair, arching into him until pleasure shattered through me. I barely had time to recover when he was on top of me again. “Do you really want this?” he murmured against my ear. I nodded, wrapping my arms around his neck. “Claim me.” “Dylan,” he corrected. “Say my name.” “Take me, Dylan.” He positioned himself, rubbing against me until I gasped. Then he pushed inside. Pain exploded through me. He froze. “You’re a virgin?” I pulled him back when he tried to withdraw. “Don’t move,” I whispered. “It hurts.” He brushed my hair away and wiped my tears. “I’m sorry. It’ll fade.” It burned. It felt like I was splitting in half. But I chose this. “If I knew, I would’ve been gentler,” he said softly. “If I told you… you would’ve refused.” “If you’re doing this for money, we should stop—” “No.” I kissed him to silence him. “I’m going back in,” he warned. “Relax.” I nodded and spread my legs wider. It still hurt… but less. “Again,” I whispered. He moved faster this time. “More, Dylan…” Soon the pain faded into something wild and overwhelming. My body moved with his, matching every thrust. He kissed me, touched me everywhere, until I shattered again beneath him. Then he did too. After, he kissed my shoulder gently. “I’m sorry if I was rough.” “You could’ve just… finished inside me.” “It’s your first time. And we weren’t protected.” He buried his face in my neck. “You smell so good.” I stayed quiet. Then he pulled me into his arms and whispered— “Good night, Bri.” My chest tightened. I waited until he fell asleep before turning away from him. So that’s it. Even now… he was thinking of her. I clenched my fist, fighting the tears. I told him I would make him forget his ex. But I failed. And it hurt more than anything else.
