Last night was a blur. I remember flying into the air in dragon form, and that is it. I relive glimpses of Auriel and Morax mating repeatedly as I awaken. I open my eyes and find we are in the cave. I am lying in Nico’s arms on the makeshift bed. I snuggle into him as he stirs.
“Good morning,” He mumbles. “Where are we?”
I laugh as he looks around, “Home,” I say.
He sighs and sits up, “We must get back to the kingdom. They need us back.”
“Can’t we just stay here forever,” I shrug.
Nico gently pulls me up, “I wish. Perhaps we can return her for vacations.”
“I like that idea,” I say.
He leans down and kisses me.
I wrap my arms around him and pull him down on the bed. The kiss deepens as I am glad to be back in his arms. “I missed so much,” I sniffle. “I didn’t know- “
