The week between his hookup with Paul and their planned dinner date is long. Alex is working five full days in a row, which means he has very little time to do anything outside of work. The ten-hour turnaround he’s guaranteed feels a lot shorter with each passing day. Besides work and sleep, he has a meeting and a few phone calls with Margaret. She’s found a movie opportunity for him, if he’s interested. Given how reluctantly he accepted the part on Fourth, he’s surprised to find that he is. No TV show lasts forever, and whatever Alex is going to do with the rest of his life, he’d be foolish to limit his options.
