VICTOR WAITS TO GO to the hospital until that evening. As much as his impulse is to get to Alex first, there’s not much he can do but get in the way. Once he knows he’s no longer packed in ice, he heads to the set first to see how people are and talk to the A.D. and the safety captain. On top of everything else they’ll have to deal with the union, and Victor wants to make sure no one was pushing Alex but Alex before that particular headache begins. At one point he finds himself yelling at everyone for being afraid of him before he thanks them for being so damn excellent at doing everything right in a terrible situation. Before he goes, he exhorts everyone to check the internet at their earliest possible convenience, so they can know just how bizarre this day has been. It’s not quite gallo
