Liam isn’t sure if Alex is avoiding him in the days leading up to filming James and Zach’s big reunion for actorly reasons or because there’s going to be drama about their history and Paul’s reaction to it. Liam refrains from working too hard to figure it out, only because there’s not much he can do; their work schedules aren’t meshing at all right now. The logistics of it alone are incredibly odd.
The set isn’t closed because it’s just a kiss, but people are quieter than usual, something which seems to come from Alex, who has dragged his chair into a corner and jammed his headphones into his ears. Even Liam can read the clear do not approach of Alex’s body language, and it’s not something that changes once they’re in front of the director and the camera.
