Imprisoned Mother and Daughter Over ten thousand survivors, the majority of whom were once faculty and students of the university, along with soldiers, formed the basic composition of the current survivor base. All essentials—water, food, electricity, and other supplies—are distributed in an organized manner, adhering strictly to the military system. While many initially struggled to adapt, the hellish environment outside made it bearable; at least here, safety was guaranteed. Those dissatisfied could only suppress their grievances. Of course, there were survivors who managed to escape from the outside world, arriving daily, some in small numbers, others in groups of dozens.
