The week flew by uneventfully. Damon and Andrea had been extremely careful to not interact as much during school. Damon made sure to spend majority of his lunch time at the table he usually sat at with Kirsten, sending longing glances to Andrea’s table. To him she always looked really happy as she laughed with her friend. Caleb would sometimes sit with them there but Damon never joined them. His mother had made it her mission to take regular walks during lunch time. Damon knew she only did it to keep an eye on him. Ever since she learnt that he was doing an assignment with Andrea, she started coming out of her office more. Luckily his mother always found him next to Kirsten. The time he and Andrea lost they made up with after school as they worked on their assignment at the library.
