And the magic sword disappear to a very far-off land. An unknown land.
Jerry, a bright and charismatic young boy of black Chinese descent, was a standout student at Wellspring University in London, UK. Unbeknownst to him, his grandfather hailed from the mystical land of Ja'chin Boaz, where ancient legends whispered of a Mighty Beast and a Special sword.
Jerry's grandfather would often regale him with tales of the beast and the sword, but Jerry had always dismissed them as mere fantasy. That was until he stumbled upon the sword in school, its ornate design catching his eye. He had seen it before, but never paid much attention, thinking it was just a decorative piece.
On a snowy Tuesday morning, Jerry passed by the sword again, but this time, something drew him back. He examined the sword more closely, and his heart skipped a beat as he saw a cross at the center, just like his grandfather had described. And there, nestled in the cross, was a small, glowing blue orb.
Jerry's mind raced as he recalled his grandfather's stories. Could this be the very sword of legend? He felt a shiver run down his spine as he realized the connection. After school, Jerry returned home, his thoughts consumed by the sword and his grandfather's tales. He felt an eerie sense of familiarity, as if his life was about to become intertwined with the sword's secrets...
Jerry entered his room, tossed his bag aside, and lay down, his mind racing with questions. How did the sword end up at school? Who placed it there? Was it even real?
His mother, Mao Sophia, entered the room and noticed Jerry's troubled expression.
"My boy, what's wrong?" she asked, touching his shoulder.
Jerry hesitated, "Mom, it's about what Grandpa told me."
Sophia's eyes widened in surprise. "What did he tell you?"
Jerry stammered, "M-Mom... Grandpa told me about a village called Ja'chin Boaz. He said they need a savior to help them escape their troubles. He mentioned a sword that can kill immortals, with a cross in the center and a blue ball in the middle."
Sophia's expression changed from curiosity to concern. "The sword has a cross in the center?"
Jerry nodded. "Yes, Mom. And a blue ball in the middle."
Sophia's eyes seemed to gaze into the distance, lost in thought. "Do you think this is true?"
Jerry shrugged, uncertain.
Sophia suggested, "Try to bring the sword home so we can investigate."
Jerry hesitated, "Mom, I can't. It's not allowed."
Sophia nodded, "Okay. Is that all Grandpa told you?"
Jerry added, "He said whoever touches the sword and disappears is the traveler."
Sophia's expression turned skeptical. "Um, traveller of what, traveling to where. Did you ask him how he knew all this?"
Jerry shook his head.
Sophia dismissed the story, "I don't believe those folktales. They're just children's stories. Let it go. I made your favorite meal. Come to the dining room."
With that, Sophia stood up and walked out of the room, leaving Jerry to his thoughts.
