“Ruxs!” Ren bolted from his position at the conference table and walked at him with purpose. “We were so worried.”
"I’m okay.”
“Really? Because that was some display of power this morning.”
“Tell me about it,” Xavier said, coming up from behind his mate and yanking Ruxs to him. There wasn’t a hint of fear or trepidation in the Alpha King’s voice, regardless of the fact that he’d just had a taste of Ruxs unknown power. “I knew you wouldn’t stay away long. All you had to do was get your unknown power under your control.”
Ruxs embraced his Alpha. He was so damn sorry for not being able to stop his magic from knocking him down. “I’m here for my mate. Where is he?”
“The second reserves are in pursuit.” Takashi, Ren's personal assistant said, drawing Ruxs attention.
