Ren was in love. There was no doubt about it. He’d lived so long and never felt the elusive emotion, so it’s no wonder he recognized it right away. Being around Xavier made recognizing beautiful things easy. They were hard to miss now.
Resting his head on Xavier's chest while he listened to the nocturnal animals prowl for dinner. He was startled by a loud grumble followed by a pitiful gurgle. “Bloody hell. Was that your stomach?”
“Yep.” Xavier's low laugh turned into another loud groan. “Now, I don’t want to move. I think your laziness is rubbing off on me.”
They laid there about another half an hour until it got to the point where neither Xavier nor Ren could take Xavier's stomach growling any longer. “You’re scaring away the bunnies. Come on. Let’s find you some food.”
