Eve moves hesitantly along the bush path with the two Ligers on either side of her, their massive bodies almost hiding the humanzee from sight. She is unsure of her surroundings; testing the wind for any sign of danger as this is the first time she has ever set foot outside the compound...Father’s voice rolls around inside her head.
”You are unique, different and the world is not yet ready to meet you, Eve. People would kill you if they saw you because they fear what they don’t understand.”
