“Mom!” I yelled out when the car pulled up the driveway. “Mom!” I ran towards the car at high-speed, almost colliding with the side door as she pushed it open.
“Tina!” Emily yelled as I threw my arms around her. Although my mother and I were close, being away from her yet again for so long was not good. I hadn’t even realized just how much I had missed her. I don’t think I would get over it until Colin was home.
