Right now, things were tough and as I glanced over at Liam, I couldn’t help but just smile. He was mature for his younger age and I appreciated that about him. Stephan had left the pack just after I had officially moved in and been a part of this, well, it just made me happy. We were sitting at the kitchen table, having breakfast. Jewel had prepared a lovely meal to meet my family, that had arrived at the pack last night. Stephan had wonderfully given us a place to stay. A house not too far from the pack but not quite in the village. Liam had helped me move in and although he spent a lot of time with me in that house, I spent just as much time in the packhouse.
