“They are here,” Lilly announced as she entered the sitting room. Sasha smiled happily as she stood up and rushed to the front of the house to welcome her sister. Trevor had decided to travel to the council house to give them some news that may or may not be helpful. Sasha had immediately insisted that Emily come to her until things had settled down and Colin was back home. Sasha smoothed down her knee-length black skirt before pulling open the door. Emily stood next to Grecia with Dylan in her arms.
“Thank you for coming,” Sasha said as she leaned in and kissed Emily’s cheek.
“Thank you for inviting us,” Emily responded as she shifted Dylan onto her other hip. Sasha smiled at the young pup and gently pinched his cheek.
“Hello little one,” she cooed out. Dylan gurgled and squirm
