Chapter 25 Lark's heart pounded in his chest from those words. Any other problem from his head was pushed away as his wolf almost took over his mind from the worry. "What happened?" he moved so quickly, putting his hand on John's shoulder and shaking the man that he wasn't able to reply a quickly. Lark tried to reign in his emotion as he waited for John to elaborate what he said. What Travis just told him made way in his thoughts and for a moment he feared that someone told their enemy about her and did something to her. However his dark and anxiety-filled mind was given some reprieve when John told him what Maris had told him but new worries replaced them. "Maris told me that she couldn't contact through mindlink so she contacted me instead." John started and Lark cursed himself
