The Big Strike

**The next day**

Mrs Hudson got ready very early to leave for work. She got ready dropped a note on the dinning table and left. Something very strange happened while she was on her way to work. She felt like she was being followed. She turned severally to search around but she could not find anyone. She simply continued her journey since she sensed no bad energy. Mrs Hudson knew she was not a normal human since she was given birth to. She was different but had no explanation to it, she felt followed many times but if she sensed no bad energy, she did not bother. When Mrs Hudson's mum Gabe birth to her, she gave her an emerald necklace which she never took off or she felt like she was vulnerable to attack. She was a not normal which she knew nothing about until she began her findings. on her on she found out a lot through studying and asking from her grandmother. Her grandmother made it clear to her that she was not normal but she didn't know herself too. She only told her things to help her find out. Only her mother knew what it was.

Mrs Hudson was too sensitive for it to be normal! That day she got to work and she still felt followed, this time it was not normal. She felt a very bad energy. But she went on with her job.

***Meanwhile***

Olive got up early that day to find out her mum was already gone, she felt bad she could not see her before work and she also had this feeling something was going to happen. It was too strong to be normal. She went up to her dad and requested that she goes to her mum's work place. Mr Hudson said Baby, don't worry, this is not the first time she's leaving okay, shell be fine. Olive said she had a bad feeling about her mum's whereabouts. Mr Hudson insisted that everything will be fine.

**At School***

Olive could not stop thinking of her mum, thee was just something she could not understand about this feeling it was very strong. She went to Summer trying to explain but no words could describe it. She felt like no one would understand even if she tried to explain. Olive sat all day restless, trying to figure it out. Maybe it could be about the dream she had, she thought. She was absent minded throughout that day at school. It was like she was a ghost of herself. How is it possible that the best student in class is this absent minded today everyone thought. After school that day Summer tried to assure Olive that everything will be okay, there was no need to worry. Olive did not bother explaining or talking because no one will understand. She kept quiet still trying to figure it out. A hunk snapped her out of her thought. Hey babies, how was school Mr Hudson said while he came to pick up the girls. He saw already that something was wrong with his daughter.

Olive simply walked to the car without saying hi or giving a response. Summer looked up at Mr Hudson and said hey Mr Hudson! great to see you how was work today, she asked. work was great and school? he responded. school was okay just that Olive has been a little off. They got into the car and few minutes into the drive Mr Hudson Hudson spoke up. Honey what's wrong? he asked. Nothing she said flatly. Don't tell me that, I'm your dad I know when you're not okay, now tell me what's the matter? Dad is mum okay? This feeling didn't go even while I was at school hope she's fine. Dad believe me when I say we heard something and that might be haunting mum. Haunting? common honey Mr Hudson said. You just need to rest, try to read less of your vampire stories and movies Mr Hudson said trying to cheer her up but it was not effective. Dad this is not a joke okay? Olive said with a loud voice and with annoyance in her voice. They got home and Olive went straight to her room and stayed there.

Meanwhile Mrs Hudson was on her way back from work when suddenly two cars attempted to hit her own car. she was confused as to why on the same day, both cars tried to hit her. she rushed home and fortunately she got home safely. Even when she got home, she felt something was not right. Immediately she walked in Olive heard noises from the front door and rushed to see and she found her mum. "Mum!!" Olive shouted with so much sparkle in her voice. she ran to embrace her mum. "Baby!" she replied hugging her daughter as well. it was kind of weird to Mrs Hudson for Olive to hug her so tight like she was scared to lose her. "You missed me so much huh?? but don't squeeze me to death okay?" Mrs Hudson said while laughing. Olive pulled out of the hug slowly. Mrs Hudson said "you missed me more than I expected" again with so much surprise in her expression, "why don't I freshen up" and we'll make dinner together she said with a very big smile. Olive nodded her head and left to set the kitchen up.

Mrs Hudson came down while Mr Hudson followed behind. He went to the garage to service all his machineries for the old farm he owns, while the girls made dinner. Mrs Hudson and Olive made dinner while talking, making jokes and taking cute pictures. They even made videos and had fun. Mrs Hudson sent Olive to get the big juice box of orange juice while she sets the table. Olive obeys and goes to get the orange juice. Mrs Hudson also went to set the table. She carried plates and cutlery to set the table, but she begins to feel that presence once again. This time stronger than the other times. And it was this same feeling she felt when those two cars tried to hit her. She felt it closer and closer. She looked down at the emerald necklace her mum gave to her and assured herself it'll keep her safe but it was like it was not even on her neck. She felt no atom of safety, before she knew it she felt something run past her with the speed of a cheetah. A shiver ran down her spine. She said "hello who is there??' still scared. The next minute, she saw a face right in front of her. It was a VAMPIRE!!! she screamed dropping the plates but the vampire was quick! He bit her and yanked the emerald necklace that was on her neck off and Olive rushed right in seeing her mum on the floor with blood all over her neck, and seeing his departing...
