"Where's Tala?" Diana panicked as they were about to leave.
"You guys were supposed to be hidden already. What's going on?" Rick asked Luke.
"She's already gone and I'm staying here." He answered simply.
"What? What happened?" Diana's eyes grew wide.
"We are no longer to be mated. That's the end of it. Now I will be heading to the workshop. . . Make sure no one disturbs me . . . I'd like to be alone for a while."
They all stood stunned as they watched him walk away.
Tami rushed Baddy and Diana off. Even though Diana objected, in the end, she knew her mother was right. They needed to ensure everything looked normal. Whatever was going on with Luke and Tala, it would be figured out and fixed soon enough. Knowing Gela and her mother, they'd have it fixed in no time.
